The article from Adam Zivo is based on first-hand documents and confirmation from the British Columbia Centre on Substance Use. The background here is that Canada has a "safer supply" program where they provide addicts with drugs, generally free of charge, so they can be sure their drugs are safe and won't have an unknown fatal dosage of fentanyl inside.

You can learn more about Canada's safer supply program here: https://www.canada.ca/en/health-can...onding-canada-opioid-crisis/safer-supply.html

What Adam Zivo uncovered is that British Columbia has now approved free fentanyl for minors. The program allows them to obtain fentanyl without their parent's consent or knowledge. The requirements to receive their free supply of fentanyl are listed below.

The irony here is that parents have no say in whether or not their minors will receive free fentanyl from their government. However, the parents are also prohibited by the same law from sending their children to receive involuntary substance addiction treatment. This seems pretty crazy to me.

At least they're doing something to attack the problem of overdoses and deaths. What are we doing? I know we talk about it a lot, and we talk about stopping them coming in to the country, but what have we actually done?

Your link refers to prescription drugs only. It says nothing about free fentanyl for minors. Zivo is mistaken.
