Must be desperate to find something “ good about slavery” because you find in the midst of “ An institution of crushing horror “ , “the institution of crushing horror” taught the victim how to fight back the same institution they are being victimized. . It’s like saying to rape Victim , at least you got pleasure out of it.

 

Did you completely ignore the article or are you just pretending it says something different to enhance the comedic factor of your response? For clarity, slaves were sometimes allowed to hire themselves out. They paid their masters a monthly fee for the ability to hire themselves out and anything they earned from their labor above that amount they were able to keep for themselves. Some slaves were even able to buy their freedom from their skills, such as making cabinets. As I said before, you really should do a basic level of research. You clearly have an interest in this subject, but your knowledge and assumptions have been consistently wrong to a laughable degree.
