Recent immigrants from Africa have already started in calling people who don't welcome them with open arms names like "racist", "bigot", "white supremacists". "We are all immigrants was a sign they held up."
Really? Kind of hypocritical of them considering this is what black South Africans do to illegal immigrants:

Necklacing: a savage way of killing of immigrants now, but the practice was started with little winnie mandela during the takeover of SA by black communists.
Can you imagine a Western country doing this to immigrants? OMG!!! Look at the SA 'Border Patrol' laughing their asses off.

Maybe that’s why those individuals fled central Africa for America and are now expressing their disappointment that reality there isn’t matching the promises of equality and freedom they will have heard.

No one in Africa seems to understand equality and freedom. Should we take them all in? Maybe they should remember that equality and freedom when they march around singing kill all the Boers. Why does America and the West have to abide by all this kumbaya, equality and freedom stuff while everyone else gets a pass. Not going for it.

No one in Africa? At all? Do you know how big Africa is? Do you know how many people live in Africa? Do you know how diverse Africa is?

I never said anything about that, I was just trying to explain your perceived disconnect between the actions of two sets of entirely different people. Totally independent of any actual policy opinions, just some basic information about peoples of the world.

You realise that the immigrants in America being talked about here are from Central Africa, places like Congo and Angola? They’d be the victims of the vicious attacks in South Africa (again, a possible reason they will have gone to the US instead). Just because they’re black doesn’t make them all the same (I can’t believe I need to write that!).

Lumping together every person from the Africa Continent is as ridiculous as lumping together every person from the North American Continent. Should I dismiss the opinions of anyone from the USA because someone in Mexico does something horrific?
