So? It was the revolutionary guard which crashed this uprising in blood. The very same people who critizize him for soothing Chavez' mum. Iran had its spring in 1979! There already a secular dictator was duped by radical Islamist forces as it happens now in Syria or as it happened in Egypt or Libya. What we saw in Iran from 1979 until today is the development Egypt and other states are going to take, if they dont purge their countries of militant Islamists.
