Sharia has already been instituted, by DECREE of the "interim" govt. in Libya.
What part of that is an "assumption"?

Shari'a has been adopted by the interim government, but as stated in the Libyan Constitutional Declaration, a referendum will be held so that every citizen in Libya can vote on the Constitution. Therefore, your assumption that Shari'a will be the law of the land is illegitimate. The people of Libya will decide.

Yeah, sure I am. Just like I was "ignorant" about the FACT that the "arab spring" is noithing more than a front for islamist takeover of anti-terror regimes, right?

Your Walter Mitty bullcrap fools only yourself.

Look at your asinine pretense that Hezbollah and Hamas aren't terror gourps.

It is plain to any sentient reader exactly who is ignorant of the mideast:

News stories about bodies found at sea are occasionally published by Gaza newspapers. Yet not all them chose to go swimming voluntarily.

The Gazans who found their death at sea include mid-level officials at government ministries, alongside police and security officers. Some of them were shot in the head before being sent on their “swim.”

They were friends. Now they kill each others supporters.

All of the victims were designated as traitors by the secret service of Hamas’ military wing and executed as collaborators.

    http://ivarfjeld.wordpress.com/2010/08/11/hamas-kills-opponents-and-dump-them-at-sea-in-gaza/

So much for hamas only killing Israelis...

Panel Indicts Hizbullah in Lebanese Minister’s Murder

    http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...cused-of-killing-lebanese-prime-minister.html

So much for hezbollah's only being a threat to israel.

The ignorance and lies regarding your posting about the muslim brotherhood are ALL KNOWN here, such as the asinine claim that they were not allied with the nazis in WW2,and did notsend Jews from Palestine to their deaths in nazi death camps, etc.

The muslim brotherhood remains what it has always been: a murderous collection of cowardly terrorists.

BTW-The only thing keeping Israel from incinerating Lebanon is their own grace, as there is nothing hezbollah could do, should the IDF decide to take Lebanon.

As always, we look forward to more of your nonsense, from Make Belive Walter Mitty land...

    Uh-huh; right.

Sharia will be the law,and "voting" against it will be a fatal mistake. Elections will be a sham, IF they even occur, and any opponents to the current islamist power structure will be murdered,as is the case in any islamist-controlled area, such as Gaza and S.Lebanon.

Still waiting for the falsehoods you accused me of creating here....

Pure assumption. You expect that the Libyan interim government is incapable of creating a transition. Furthermore, if Libya adopts Shari'a Law, they will adopt a moderate version. The NTC has expressed that the Libyan people want a version of Shari'a law that upholds international and humanitarian law, and respects human rights.

You spare us your idiocy, we'll spare you. Gaza (where the Palestinians live) is more than a thousand miles away from Tripoli. Fatah has nothing to do with Libya.

No, it's a fact that Fatah isn't a terrorist organization:

The United States doesn't consider it a terrorist organization. You are making dogmatic statements.

No assumption , but an intelligent observation, based on historic precedant.

Please cite the islamist militant controlled nation, area, neighborhood where power was relinquished peacefully by the terrorists in control...EVER.

    It ain't gonna happen...never has.

Care to try any more bullcrap, like "Fatah isn't a terrorist group"?

Wrong. Your knowledge of the region is tenuous, obviously. "Fatah" is a wing of the PLF/PLO.

The PLO is considered gone, but the PLF remains, and is most defintitely on your current list.

BTW-The current State Dept. is part of the administration that is blatantly involved with the islamist takeover of Libya and Egypt.

Their opinion is of little value.

    Try the FACTS:

Fatah Claims Credit for Two Murders Near Netanya

    http://www.iris.org.il/blog/archives/2748-Fatah-Claims-Credit-for-Two-Murders-Near-Netanya.html

AS I said before, spare us the bullcrap.

The PLF and Fatah broke off relations shortly after Black September 1971 in 1973-1974. In 1988, the Fatah denounced terrorism. The Obama administration didn't disregard them as a terrorist organization, but the Reagan/Bush administrations and congresses.

Yet they claimed credit for two murders quite recently...duh. Nothing says, "We've rejected terrorism" like that, huh?

It's beside the point of this thread. Terrorists control Libya now..just like Palestine.

There will be no free elections there...

There are militant groups such as the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade that were originally members of the Fatah. However, the party has denounced their activities. Therefore, the claims that Fatah claimed responsibility are illegitimate. A denounced militant group claimed responsibility.

You remain a laughingstock. Al Qaeda (etal) controls Tripoli,( at least), and they won't be giving that up peacefully, except in Margot's Walter Mitty World.

Sharia law IS the law of the land, this after ALL THE ASSURANCES from the Leftninnies that this would NEVER HAPPEN...we've heard enough of your bullcrap; save it for your fellow islamapologists.

    Libya is now a pro-terror nation-nice job Leftninnes/Obamites.

One Al Qaeda guy in Tripoli? LOLOL

In Tripoli the schools reopened in late Sept.. the cafes are open.. the newspapers are publishing.. Citizens are planting trees in memory of their lost loved ones.

Tripoli has an explosion of political parties...

The various oil companies are either back at work or will be back at work by December.

Have you always lived in Indiana?

How long have you been studying Libya?

Have you read the Libyan constitution that was tossed out by Khadafi?

    Says who?

There's a new islamist terror group popping up everytime some islamist (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)(*) gets his first AK, therefore your desperate attempt to pretend that the terrorists of Fatah are NOT the terrorists of Fatah, is completely meaningless.

Maybe you should get ahold of them, and tell them to stop claiming to have murdered Israelis, since they "rejected terrorism".

    What a joke.

The terrorists are of the al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade, not the Fatah. The article fails to realize that it's this group that claimed responsibility, not the Fatah.

More of your silly nonsense. Repeating your bullcrap doesn't make it come true, except in your fertile imagination.

Like there's JUST ONE AL QAEDA GUY IN TRIPOLI? Really? Can anyone possibly be that thick?

The law in Libya is SHARIA adopted BY DECREE.PERIOD. Let us know when the terrorist/islamists decide to revoke that, ok?

I have lived many places, but, unlike you, I don't try to pretend that I've lived everywhere.

One needn't live ANYWHERE to learn about it, in the information age.

    Where have you been?

Oh yeah, in your little Walter Mitty life, where you have lived anywhere that a thread is about, are the Advisor to the Sheiks, the Object of Worship and Desire to Arab Men, the Great Knower of the Mideast, blah, blah, blah.

You don't even realize how many times you get caught blatantly lying in the course of a week, do you?

The rest of us are well aware....
    You fool only yourself...

Islamists NEVER peacefully relinquish power...NEVER. Libya will be no exception; hell, they've ALREADY INSTALLED SHARIA,just WEEKS after the death of Ghaddafi.

There will be nothing but SHAM elections, as is the case in ALL islamist-controlled places, and ALL DISSENT will be savagely crushed, also the norm in such places.

The two or three AQ guys in Libya were Libyans who left because of Khadafi.. fought in Afghanistan and returned to train and lead the rebel forces when the civil war broke out..

Libya will be prosperous, beautiful and successful again..

You are very sick if you actually believe your fantasy about me being an advisor or an object of worship and desire.. LOLOL

Sharia law.. especially when it is moderate as in Libya, is not a problem unless you are a criminal.

AL Qaeda MURDERED the previous military leader of the rebellion, and took over the guns. I understand that the cognitive ability to grasp that, and exactly what it means, escapes you, but that isn't your fault. You can only play with the cards you were dealt.

Yes..Libya is a glorious place!! All sunshine, lollipops and rainbows!! :sun:

Let us know when the islamists in charge, relinquish power, revoke sharia, and let Libya live happily ever after....we won't hold our breath.

    Sure..

1.. They have Khadafis formerly frozen asset to rebuild.

2.. they have oil revenues from 7 oil companies.

    3. They have the experience of a rather enlightened Constitution from 1951 thru 1969.

4.. Proximity to Europe...and gorgeous beaches as well as great seafood.

    5... a wonderful heritage.

6.. Lingering Italian influence in art, culture and cuisine.

7... They have a small population of less than 10 million people.

8.. They have already moved to contact foreign companies to come in and help them rebuild.

9.. They have 22 new political parties of every ilk that will drop out or combine or compromise as the field narrows.

Libya has a lot going for it.
