There is enough evidence that the good people of Alabama decided they didn't want a pedophile to represent them in the Senate.

I think he is, and so do the voters in Alabama, evidently. They thought at best he showed too much interest in young girls and also said America was great back when there was slavery. Anyone stupid enough to believe this shouldn't be elected to any political office.

I think before you make this claim you better look at WHO voted and why.

Woman voted Moore out and expect further action on this as women decide they no longer want men in power who have a history of sexual assault

The countries you listed ... "India, Nepal, the Phillipines, and several countries in South America." The only place where you even have half a case is Nepal. At this point, the communist party is unlikely to gain control and their screwy economic ideas are not being implemented.

I recall reading a few headlines about a Naxalite attack in India a few weeks ago and I know that the Phillipine maoists are constantly flipping from peace negotiations to guerilla warfare. I know the Peruvian maoists are still kicking around though they've effectively been defeated for a while, and I know that there's maoist elements within militant movements scattered across the south american continent

What you don't seem to understand is that anarchism and Maoism don't work at all. Even Marxism-Leninism works for a time. The only progressive approach that has ever worked has been in Northern European countries.

I think he will vote solidly liberal democrat

But there is not much difference in the objectives of republicans who have been in washington 40 or 50 years and a democrat

They both exist to get reelected and grow the government

i get really annoyed with the amount of people who don't know **** trying to talk to me, a person with an obsessive interest in cold war history, like they know more than me, and saying things that are reductionist and wrong

You're not the only personal around here interested in Cold War history.

Are you refuting my claim or not?

I notice you played on a typo while avoiding the issue.

I'll try again: "The only progressive approach that has ever worked has been in Northern European countries."

You are kidding? If Alabama voters saw sufficient evidence that they were convinced to vote in a Dem, then their standard of proof was satisfied.

You are a fool if you think that these conservative rabid trumpsters would be that easy to worry with nothing. Its a tough crowd for anyone going against Donald's recommendation. They clearly thought it was more likely than not. It does not need to meet any other o\arbitrary standard you or a court might set.

Indeed. And Roy Moore's staunchest defenders dug the hole even deeper for him, with the one having the mind-bogglingly stupidity to claim that Mary was underage when she got pregnant. But he was referring to Joseph and obviously not smart enough to realize that the entire idea of the story was that her conception was immaculate.

The other idiot was really, really, REALLY convinced that Moore is right that no Muslim could ever be sworn in as a public official, since he thought that they must swear on a Christian Bible. What a friggin idiot. This moment on CNN with Jake Tapper will go down as a golden moment in history. 'Deer in the headlights', too stupid to even know that he is looking at the headlights.

But Roy Moore shot himself in the political foot the most, by openly admitting that he dated VERY young girls, so young that he felt compelled to ask their parents' permission. And the fact that he was was dating his own wife when she was 15 and he was, at that time, married to someone else - all of things should have actually completely turned-off the Evangelical community, but it (mostly) did not, at least among White Evangelicals, which leads me to wonder if they even know what they believe or even care whether they should know it or not. The hypocrisy of at least one very large segment of the Evangelical population stinks veritably to high heaven. I never ever want to hear again that Evangelicals actually believe in Jesus or what the man preached, because they live by not even one whit of it. The majority of Evangelicals are complete fakes.

And then there was the last minute relevation that, out of nowhere, Roy Moore, who is supposed to be a patriotic American and practically married to the Constitution and the 10 commandments, can speak fluent Russian, without much accent at all. The sentence he iterated in the RT interview (yes, RT) is not something you learn in a first or second year Russian language textbook. Pretty amazing, eh? Joe McCarthy, a Republican from the 50s, would be oh so conflicted were he to be alive now...

I think that even Moore's closest aides could not cover up the vile stench of his past behavior and his current politics.

I would also lay down good money to prove that even at 70, he has been using the internet to search for underage ***** to pump on the side. Something like tindr.... and I bet very strongly that this will come out in the next months.
