I've long argued that the pay scale of Congress has a huge influence on what class they serve. So I've also advocated congressional pay being significantly less than it is. But the knee-jerk response to pile on AOC for being greedy and selfish is ludicrous when she's calling for a raise for Republicans too.

 

Except the Republicans aren't pushing for a raise ---- it's your darling AOC wanting a raise. You know, so she's not, like, tempted to do other, like, unethical things to, like, make more money. Bless you AOC, you're comedy gold. I even caught one of the morning radio shows making fun of this this morning ---- and it's a music station that is mostly neutral with occasional left-leaning remarks, go figure.

 

What does the fact GOP members would benefit matter? I think they are all overpaid....but of course I'm not surprised to see a greedy leftist trying to give herself more.

What happened to the her line about guaranteed housing should come before the "privledge to earn a profit?"" I guess that's for everyone else...not her and the ruling class.

 

This statement is far from the truth. The DNC is in for a rude awakening this primary. The DNC is the Democratic establishment AOC and the Democrats for Justice organization want to remove from power.
