    Well of course, I regard Melbournians as Bogans NOW, but back then, they regarded anyone from NSW (or QLD) as such. They still do, but their galloping general hysteria has diluted it somewhat.

    Australia Needs Robot Tanks​

    Australia is getting into robot military vehicles.

    It is joining a host of nations that are developing or have even deployed armed autonomous patrol vehicles, robot trucks and even remote-controlled tanks. The club includes the United States, Russia, China, Israel and various European nations.

    But of them all, robotic combat vehicles may make the most sense for Australia.

    Gotta love fishermen in the NT.

    A group of fishermen were forced to ride out a thunderstorm in a broken boat on a crocodile-infested river in the remote Northern Territory before being rescued by Daly River Police.

    Key points:
    • Three men were rescued from the Daly River after drifting for more than seven hours
    • Their boat engine had broken down
    • Police said there was some doubt if some in the group would go fishing again

    Happy NY to everyone....isnt it exciting....we can even get our tampons without paying GST...now we have to be happy about that...all we need now is a cure for period pain and we will definitely be empowered

    As a brown person who grew up in Melbourne and visited rural areas a few times I disagree completely. Xenophobics are everywhere. Just like self-righteous ***** who think their crowd is above such things.
