Left-wing Democrats and Never Trump Republicans appealed Friday for assistance in compiling lists of Trump supporters to they could be held “accountable” for supporting President Donald Trump after the election.

“Democratic socialist” Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) tweeted: “Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future.” AOC.png

I don't follow AOC, and I have no idea what she means. Do you have some background on this? What is she talking about?

Well, that's the absolute dumbest thing she could do right now. I never liked her much (but I'm a progressive, lmao) and this is one reason why.

We don't need more confrontation. We've had enough, thank you. This messaging is counterproductive and opposed to Biden's message of unity. I don't expect Joe will tolerate much of this.

There may be a Dem majority in the house but she should be censured for this. This is how rabid and hateful the left has become, they are truly fascists. I wonder how far they want to take this accountability thing. If we don't nip this thing in the bud it's going to get a lot worse.

Being held accountable as in remember their complicity in the Trump nightmare during the next election cycle. Glad I could clear that up for you.

I truly hope sour grapes (or as Trumpers call it, being butt hurt) does not cause you guys to spend a lot of time on these kinds of false accusations of nefarious behavior. Better to spend your time trying to bring the Repub party back to reality after its flirtation with the Orange Buffoon.

Censured for what, these posts are public they can be tracked, just like Trump's

    http://www.trumptwitterarchive.com/archive

I get it, the right would like us all to forget who supported Trump and what they said, but if they said it, it should be remembered

Thing is, we already know that AOC is an enemy to America. Her tweet threatening to punish Americans who exercise their Constitutional rights to choose their Representatives is proof.

    Already?

    Trump’s post-election purge has begun

"Late Friday afternoon, the White House fired Bonnie Glick, the Senate-confirmed deputy administrator of the U.S. Agency for International Development, without any justification offered, making her the first senior Trump political appointee to be purged following the election. The move further cripples the $31 billion agency in the middle of a global pandemic and potentially during a presidential transition as well."

LOL! Censured? For stating that the words of Trump supporters should be preserved for the future to see? What's wrong with that? If they are proud of what they have been saying, they have nothing to worry about.

What's even more amazing is that three other from members liked your post. Knowing who they are, however, it is not surprising.

Nope, you don't know who I am but I can tell you WHO I'm NOT, I'm NOT a supporter of ANYONE of ANY PARTY who would INFRINGE in ANY WAY upon the first ten Amendments of the Constitution! You know, that Bill of Rights thingy? It's the yardstick I measure politicians and parties by, hope that's clear enough for you. Also, I stand by ANYTHING I say, sage or stupid, but when hear I crap like that coming from the mouth of a little Stalinist wannabe like AOC I'm inclined to take it as a THREAT meant to cow me and others into silence, hope that's clear to ya too.

That started with Obama. Never saw it with Bush. Oh Bush complained during the first year about Clinton, but after that he never really blamed Clinton after that. Then Obama came along and through out his entire 8 years he blamed Bush for almost everything. Then Trump did the same. It's become the norm. So I fully expect Biden/Harris to do the same.

She is talking about right-wing politicians who run around on TV defending Trump by attacking progressives. And she is correct. We need to keep track of which politicians have been unconditional to Trump. Because when people wake up from this "stupor" Trump has them in, and realize what grave damage the guy has done to our country, many of them will be distancing themselves as far apart as they can from this asterisk President*.

Because Trump was such a disastrously incompetent and dishonest sack of $#!+; it will take decades for the country to recover, if it even can. Biden has to deal with the biggest economic $#!+-show since the Great Depression not because of COVID-19 (other countries have handled it without too much disruption) but because Trump and the Republicans ran up enormous deficits and encouraged record increases in private debt even while the economy was growing strongly, just to pad his economic performance numbers, the most dangerous and irresponsible economic policy in at least 80 years.

you mean lack of regulations? bush did not want the regulations....

    https://www.nytimes.com/2008/12/21/business/worldbusiness/21iht-admin.4.18853088.html

"From his earliest days in office, Bush paired his belief that Americans do best when they own their own homes with his conviction that markets do best when left alone. Bush pushed hard to expand home ownership, especially among minority groups, an initiative that dovetailed with both his ambition to expand Republican appeal and the business interests of some of his biggest donors. But his housing policies and hands-off approach to regulation encouraged lax lending standards."

"Bush Ties Policy to Record Home Ownership" March 26, 2004

    https://www.foxnews.com/story/bush-ties-policy-to-record-home-ownership

"Late last year, Bush signed the American Dream Down Payment Act (search) to help families that can afford monthly mortgage payments but not the down payment or closing costs associated with buying a house. The legislation authorizes $200

And as early as 2001 the problems were evident and the WH began warning congress but they denied there was a housing bubble. You can listen to Democrat barney frank telling congress that bush was wrong and there was no bubble, its on youtube

did you read the second link.... from 2004

"Bush Ties Policy to Record Home Ownership" March 26, 2004

now what Bush did would have worked had the economy not crashed and people could no longer afford their mortgage - when the economy crashed, their mortgages were more than the cost of a new better home, so of course they let it go and bought a new one
