Amazon deletes one-star reviews of Hillary Clinton's new book

I remember a really ugly situation a few years ago. I should have Googled this before I posted it but it may be familiar to you.

There was a female doctor somewhere in this country, and a lesbian couple came in with their new baby. The doctor politely told them that she didn't want to be their baby's doctor and arranged for another doctor in the practice to be the baby's doctor. The lesbian couple went public, and next thing you know there were all these outrageous, awful reviews popping up all over the internet, saying she was a terrible doctor and all that. It was evident from the reviews that these people were merely trolls and didn't actually use her as their doctor, but out of hate and anger for what she did to the lesbian couple, the full power of trolldom descended upon her.

Of course that was much different than this situation but in some ways the same. If you are not leaving a legitimate review, and instead use a review site to advance your own personal anger and hate against whomever you are reviewing, that's just wrong.

From what I've heard most of the negative Amazon reviews were by people who never even read, downloaded, or bought the book.

I guess trolls have to be trolls. It probably, in the end, will only help her book sales. Nothing like a little controversy to make people interested in something they wouldn't otherwise care about.

Its simple. If they don't clean out the trollish reviews of conservative writers, then Amazon is ****ING with their customers. Sadly I like them overall, but its becoming too obvious that Silicon valley is trying to artificially create and control how we think by editing what we say and thats ****ING dangerous 1984 crap. Be afraid!!!
