On Syria the Trump White House doesn't know the direction of what is good! They want U.S. allies to sign on to their plan for Syria; but their plan isn't good. A good plan would require the Kurds to take their butts out of the region of Raqqa and any other area in northern Syria that was not a Kurdish region prior to the commencement of the Syrian Civil War. The Trump White House should not expect the country of Turkey to agree to the Trump plan of creating a Kurdish country in northern Syria that any dingbat would know will eventually annex the southern areas of Turkey that are predominantly populated by Kurds. Turkey is America's ally not our stooge. America is right in leaving some troops in northern Syria to snuff out any efforts by the disbanded ISIS fighters to reconstitute into a fighting force that could recreate a territorial caliphate but they should also lay down the law to the Kurdish leaders they can either voluntarily withdrawal from areas of northern Syria that are historic Sunni areas or America will vacate our security forces from those areas and allow the Turkish armed forces and their Sunni allies to militarily drive you out!
