A few events I would like to point out that demonstrate how America is superior in every faucet of global competition from jocks to nerds. Americans couldn't earn enough gold medals over the past weeks, what a shame. Feel free to chime in:

    1)Olympics

America was the only nation to receive triple digit medals with 104 overall, including the most amount of each medal (most golds overall at 46). Not remotely close behind was China at 88 overall medals, and even further down the list was the host kingdom, the UK, with 65, a little over half of what the Americans won overall. There is no doubt to American exceptionalism and athleticism on the global stage, making jokes of potential competitors. Go USA.

    2) Mars Rover

While the world, and even myself, was focused on the Olympic games, us Americans bored with dominating such games resolved to entertain ourselves by landing a 6 foot long SUV rover on Mars, the Curiosity . It's landing was perfect and even monitored by an American satellite in Mars orbit. With a 2 year life expectancy, the Curiosity achieved only what America and no other country has achieved before - landing on a celestial object successfully with perfectly engineered crafting for the advance of science.

Indeed, some jealous foreigners, specifically from New Zealand, might call Mars 'dust'. So be it. If you are never part of greatness or wonder, you'll never learn to appreciate the hard work and dedication your fellow country men put into their lives for the advancement of all countries, most undeserving of shared knowledge.

    What's next for America?

Football season is coming up, and a fall/winter hibernation period will begin. World, we'll (America) see ya in February. Have fun falling apart.
