    As of about 1 hour ago I am no longer seeing the dislike feature appear in any threads. Was it removed?

    It encouraged petty smallmindedness, and sometimes smallminded pettiness, and we can do without any more of that.

    Probably because it allowed users to spam other users with dislikes in order to lower their 'reputation' - I remember some guy went over my post count and gave me 20 dislikes in a row once.

    Yep....glad it's gone...it had no purpose other than to lower someone's standing.

    Thank you! That was annoying, since I received an average of 15 to 20 "dislikes?" for just about every comment I posted from the SAME ONE PERSON!

    I didn't mind the "dislike" feature that much. . .constructive criticism can be helpful. . .but I felt totally harassed by that ONE poster. . . who by the way was already on my "ignore" list!

    A good decision, in my opinion. :thumbsup:

    Although I never gave a "dislike," I suspected from the beginning that the function could be/may be, used inappropriately. As is evidenced by comments within this thread.
