The fallacy that our government is a, "Representative Democracy," ended with the election of Donald J. Trump.

What's wrong with Tillerson as president? I think he'd be great.

Trump Derangement Syndrome is what you are experiencing. You need to find a "safe place" for the next eight years!

There are a lot of Trumpettes calls for the president's impeachment. Every reason makes more noise and less sense as time goes on. and a euphamism for their devasting loss last November. Heavy emotional investments like this will bankrupt them emotionally. What will they do when they find out none of there fantasies will happen--move to Canada?

****in' hell mate, I've got to give you massive props for that URL work. Must have taken hours.

Unfortunately, Trump has mostly surrounded himself with establishment neocons. A real disappointment.

Definitely ... at least with Trump you kind of know what you are getting. With Pence you have a true wolf in sheep's clothing. He is a truly evil SOB.

Donald Trump was not my choice for the Republican nomination and I did not vote for him as president. That being said, there was no way I would vote for HIllary Clinton. As the first female president, she would have given all women in politics a bad name.

Hillary Clinton is a self-serving party fat cat who had all of her posts handed to her and who never won a fair fight in her life.

She got into the upper ranks of the Democrat Party by marrying a guy who became president.Talk about nepotism. She kept her perch in the party by keeping her mouth shut when Bill was impeached for lying to Congress about cheating on her. The party's thank you when Bill left office in 2000 was the safest democrat senate seat in Congress--the seat from New York.

(Does anyone think she would have won the seat in Arkansas in a fair fight that year? The Arkansas Bar suspended Bill for five years when he left office.)

Not content with a safe senate seat, Hillary had a two-year media blitz (starting in 2006) touting her as the first female president before she lost the nomination to a nobody named Obama (her first loss in a fair fight). Her support in the party was a mile wide and an inch deep that year. She was handed the job of Secretary of State as a consolation prize.

The second loss in a fair fight was this past election. The party rigged the vote count this time to hand her the nominiation and she still had a tough fight from an old geazer from the backwoods of New England. She lost the White House to a non-politcian who campaigned very hard in swing states while Hillary was busy ordering the new White House china.

There are plenty of women in both parties who have worked their way up the election ladder to get to where they are today. Any one of them deserve the honor a lot more than HIllary.

BTW: Russian Collusion is an Illusion. No evidence to back it up, just BS.

As has been rightly pointed out several times, the "fight" was neither "fair", nor is Trump a "non-politician" simply because he has never been elected to an office. He has been friends of the Clintons for decades, and has bragged about how he "bought" politicians for personal gain. And in spite of the efforts of the lying adulterous, coward, Trump she still received 3 million more votes then he did, and his popularity is constantly falling as more people understand what an ass he is.

Hillary won the popular vote by 2.8 million votes, not 3 million. Let's be accurate. She won California by 3.5 million which means she won an out-of-control liberal state and lost the rest of the country. She won LA County by 1.2 million votes alone. The rest of her margin was in select liberal cities. Why should a presidential election be determined by a few dots on a map? Trump won over 30 states and almost 90 percent of the counties in those states--a very convincing win for this constitutional democracy we live in. God help us if it became a mobocracy.

Why yes, by all means, let us eliminate majority rule. And let us not forget that most of Trumps wins were in counties gerrymandered by Republicans in 2010, and 2012, to insure a Republican win. However, you seem to be under some delusional idea that "mobocracy" (aka Ochlocracy) is somehow constituted by the majority. Philosophically speaking, it would be "tyranny of the majority v mobocracy of the minority". What has occurred today is closer to rule by the minority as can be seen in any monarchy. dictatorship, etc. then in a true Republic.

"Let us eliminate Majority Rule"? What are you talking about? Do you understand the Constitution? Did you study it school? Majority rule, not mobocracy, is alive and well under the Constitution of the United States. It worked exactly as it was intended last November.

Let's get straight to the heart of this, you're being dishonest.

For you and millions of other sore losers, every issue regarding PRESIDENT TRUMP (get used to it) is a surrogate for the fact that your candidate lost an upset election to him last November.

It soothes your feelings to delude yourself with things like the electoral college to excuse that bitter loss. In the process, you don't mind ranting about a corner stone of the US Constitution.

The Constitution of the United States is more important than your hurt feelings.

Your posts remind me of the ignorance of the right wing. You can't find an intelligent response, so must by necessity resort to ridicule.

What is it about right wingers that seems to drive you to ignore what YOU say? Did Clinton win the election by your 2.8 million votes, or not? Is that not a majority of the people? You wish to change that to the number of counties which are not people, they are areas of land.

    More right wing idiocy.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You on the right spent 8 years trying to make Obama a "one term" President, and you lost. You spent 8 years bragging about the obstructionism of the Republicans, and now are going to spend the next 4 years whining about the lack of cooperation of the Democrats. You spent 8 years "investigating" virtually every action of Obama, and found NOTHING. Kind of like Trump saying he won by 3 million if one were to eliminate the illegal voters. And, as is his habit, never proving his lie, and the Repugnant ones like you never demand he does. And, just to be repetitious of what I have said before, I vote for honest people, not liars, thieves, and cowards. Thus, I voted for Darrell Castle, not the trash you voted for.

A "corner stone" Republicans have tried to get rid of in the past, and is now outdated. If the members of the electoral college had voted according to the Constitutional intent you would be crying tears all the way to your bed:

    http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown...oral-college-system-makes-little-sense-today/

And when will Trump follow it? Travel ban? Emoluments clause?

The only thing I'm more sick of than Trump is the crazy attacks on Trump. Get over it--he's our President, like it or not (and no, I didn't vote for him). It's just getting so stupid on both sides.

    Right Winger?

I am an Independent and I question everything I hear.

    Your Dishonesty?

If you can't admit that your hurt feelings over Hillary's crushing loss in the electoal college is fueling you posts, then yes, you are being dishonest

    Obama a One-Term President?

As and independent, I agreed with his stimulus package at the start of his presidency. I disagreed on many of his other ideas. I both cases, I respected the office of president and never wrote anything disgusting about him being president.

If you can pull yourself out of the hysteria hole you have fallen into, you should remember that there is the opportunity to unseat a president every four years.

    Electoral College Outdated?

Funny how that topic never came up in ... 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012. It only became an hysterical talking point in 2016. Why is that?

When Will Trump Follow the Constution?

We could all take you more seriously if you discussed rational disagreements--not hysterical talking points fed to you by cable news.

    I could take you seriously if you first, responded using my words, not your delusional fiction;

Second, used rational ideas not just right wing talking points

Third, showed some kind of actual knowledge of events, not just what some Breitbart, or Rush Limbaugh, "fake news".

If you think that Trump has followed the Constitution, standard ethics, norms of the office of President, and has not consistently lied to the public, then obviously you are the one with the problem.

But hey, you don't even want to rationally discuss topics much less keep in touch with reality.

Wrong again. I have a logic that is based in common sense, and the realization that the country is falling apart, and has been for decades, and the culmination of that destruction can be seen in the election of Trump, and the reasons why Trump was elected. It is also based in the realization that for the first time in by 73 years of life the country decided to place the two most unqualified candidates on the ticket when honest, and moral, persons were also running for the office. The right loves to talk about the "dumbing down of America" by the left, yet they ignore the very real truth that the right has done NOTHING to correct that situation. Instead it has profited politically, and financially, from that ignorance. And again, Trump is the shining example of just how it is that one can profit in this country and still be sued over 3000 times for failure to pay debts owed, to go bankrupt 4, or 5, times in spite of having inherited millions of dollars, to have the morals of a dog in heat, and to have the intellectual level of that same dog.

That is what the country has come to, and that is what you are defending.
