Episode 4 is available now. It brings to mind some compelling and powerful similarities of the Sen. Lundeen case with what's happening in the US today with fascist efforts to stage a coup today.

It's really "interesting" that this history of this push for fascism has been buried and never shows up in our known history.

I do believe it because I watch MSNBC on a regular basis. Clearly you don't or you chose to ignore anti-white racism being spewed by the most progressive news station.

 

Exactly. The lefts anti white racism is on the rise. While racism is still a small issue over all, of the little that does exist most is directed at white people, not coming from them.

 

I do watch MSNBC sometimes, and I do notice a couple of their pundits who let their resentment of white people show a little too much for me (perhaps understandably because they happen to be black), but nothing they or their colleagues say scares me.

It should at least concern you. Reverse discrimination should not be tolerated either. Much of what they say is hate related something white people would be condemned for. Many careers have ended because of hate talk.

 

Why should it concern me? I don't hate anyone, and I like or admire people without regard to skin color or culture. "Reverse discrimination" sounds like whining to me. I worked for about 48 years, and never felt discriminated against by anyone, aside from the mostly white men who were sexist and patronizing, but I learned how to jump around the "old boy" cabal. I navigated those stormy waters without resorting to, or tolerating, hate speech.

Sorry, but the discrimination has always been much heavier and harmful in the other direction. I think you worry to much.

Historically Mabye, but for the last couple decades the considerable majority of racism and discrimination is directed at the straight white male. It’s something that needs to stop.

you can incorrectly call it whining, that’s your right, but it most certainly exists and it’s far more harmful and widespread than anything occurring in the other direction.

 

Do you not like history? The story she's presenting is about an attempted armed coup. Maddow is an excellent researcher and a decent writer. It's an interesting story with some parallels to current events.

 

Well I guess we can all agree she's reporting on a historical event and a current event that didn't happen. Interesting take for a current event but carry-on tin foil hatters.

 

Anything she writes is filled with bias. I hold her as highly as I hold Tucker, or Hanity

 

Bias is one thing, but bias to the point of selling blatant falsehoods and propaganda is another.

Her entire style is to take a false narrative current event, and compare and relate it to an event in history to irrationally attack the right. She uses some buzzwords, and speaks passionately, and the left looooves passion. So they fall for it.

It does have a certain entertainment value, in a completely insane kind of way.

When I snag a public podcast puking my thoughts and opinions to the mainstream public then you can judge me on my appearance as a base indicator as to if I'm suffering from some inner turmoil.

I'm a well put together man. Not a confused chick trying to make a statement that I'm a proud confused chick. Certainly not asking anyone to listen to me on my news network as I look like a confused chick.

 

They did in the 1930s/40s and they do now, any one with a working moral compass and critical thinking ability just has to look to the numerous historical parallels and it's obvious, that's what the podcast is about. It's also obvious that you are unfamiliar with the OP or podcast content or you would not make such a vacuous post mired in the resulting denial. Feel free to familiarize yourself with the fascists of world war 2 and present day, they are still on the right and only on the right.
