The M 14 was designed to fit AK-47 ammo fine in the chamber, but the bullet is only partially in the barrel. When ignited, the bullet has only one place to go. It's not as good as using proper ammo for other reasons, but it was intentionally designed to be that way. Having an army that can use your ammo and they can't use yours is a strategic advantage. M 14 ammo is heavy, like two and a half what M 16 ammo is and people can only carry so much.
Run off and troll someone else. You are wrong and you can't understand the truth when you hear it. I know what I know as a fact, not opinion.
BAWAAAAAAAWAWWAWAHAHAHAHAHAH! Hey... uh... genius... What size bullet does the AK47 use? In inches? And the M14?
You can not fire an AK round out of an m 14. You really need to refrain from telling other people they don’t know anything about rifles, if you keep repeating demonstrably false nonsense like that.
I know the weapons I'm familiar with and living with one throughout boot camp can teach you a few things. I was trained with M 14s and I know I can use AK-47 ammo in them. If you can't see how that is possible, you don't know much about weapons. I could pick off a person at 700 yards with a peep hole sight with an M 14, but AK-47 ammo would only be good at small distances. Capturing it can make the difference between dying on a battlefield and living thru it. The NATO M 14 was designed that way and anyone trained with them would know that.
Ask people who trained using M 14s. AK-47 ammo fits right in the chamber and will fire putting the bullet down the barrel, have you ever fired an M 14?
You have demonstrated by your posts that you’ve never even held a rifle. Doubling down on the moronic claim that an M 14 can fire an AK round clearly shows that.
You don't. In slightest. You aren't , you didn't, and you can't Both of these statements are false,. This statement is also false.
That's bullshit. I went to Parris Island on January 14, 1972 and used M 14s in training. Anyone who knows anything about munitions knows an M 14 can use AK-47 ammo and was designed to do so. Those were the cold war days, by the way.
Troll on. Find me a Marine so stupid that doesn't know I was a Marine. There are things only a Marine would know.
Anyone believing a word you say must be a total fool. Even long after boot camp, I had experiences with AK type weapons. I have researched their development and happen to live around Stoner, who designed many modern weapons. You don't know ****.
BWAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA! Says the guy who thinks the M14 can feed and fire 7.62x39 BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!
BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! No Marine knows any of the things you claim, because your claims are false. BWAAAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAAH!
You were not a member of any branch of the military, and you’ve never even seen an M 14 Because I pointed out a fact of physics? Lol
Do you know what a bullet is? All it has to do is be designed in a chamber to reach a barrel to be fired. It's just less grain as the normal more lethal standard NATO round. AK-47s ammo will definitely fire in an M 14. That's why the M 14 was designed that way. The only unfortunate part, is it didn't keep the commies out of our country and the Republicans invited them in.
You did no such thing. It is not physically possible to fire an AK round out of an M 14. That you keep asserting it does confirms you have never held a rifle in your life.
