No it is a clump of cells that may or may not develop into a “person”. But I am more than happy to see strategies and interventions to successfully prevent pregnancy rather than stand around throwing stones afterward

Unfortunately these “exceptions” are real people with real life threatening and even ending complications.

You're just a clump of cells as well. From the moment of conception that single cell is a human life exactly as it created to be at that stage of life.

There are real human beings inside that womb too.

Now, how many of these women are 10-year-old girls? Should we let the circumstances of this one story define the rule for all the other cases?

Another thing you don't bother reading, just copy/pasting.

This, of course, is a worthless "study". The data simply doesn't exist to know, and only examined a sub-set of criminals in state prisons. It doesn't include federal crimes, it doesn't include those who commit violent crimes in this country and flee back to their own country, or anything other than what they could piece together from multiple systems to try and figure out who was illegal or legal.....for one state.....for people they had actually been able to catch and charge.

A government cannot have records on a person when the information on that person cannot be tracked back. That's the whole point. You can't even verify their name or DOB because you have nothing to compare it to.

This entire thing fails the basic logic test. Generally speaking it is obvious that people from a country with a 50 per 100k homicide rate sneaking into a country with a 5 per 100k homicide rate are going to bring more violent crime.

Your "study" has a fatal flaw: misidentification. Properly determined and reclassfied over time, illegal aliens commit far greater rates of the most serious of violent crimes to include homicide and rape.

    https://cis.org/Report/Misuse-Texas-Data-Understates-Illegal-Immigrant-Criminality

Table 1 contains the complete DPS data that we received from our 2021 request, along with the crime rates that we calculated using Census population data. It is sorted first by year, then by the offenses for which illegal immigrants are most likely to be convicted relative to the state population as a whole.

As the table indicates, illegal immigrants in Texas appear to be convicted of crimes such as homicide, sexual assault (shown in Figure 2), and kidnapping at higher rates than the state average. By contrast, they appear to be convicted at lower rates for crimes such as robbery and drugs.
