    Ashton B. Carter officially became the 25th U.S. secretary of defense on Tuesday, taking the oath of office at the White House in a ceremony with Vice President Biden.

    Carter's military aide looks like he should be on a weight control program--our is the image of our new military under Obama/Carter?
    This is an another "yes" man in Obama's fantasy bubble. The "candid advice" will be: "Yes sir, no-sir and whatever you say, Sir."

    The office wasnt formed until 1947. Interesting....weve had issues winning wars since then.

    Ahhh, I had that confused with the Secretary of War which was here since 1789 if I remember correctly.

    Same job just a different title.
