The republican party is always whining about more minorities should vote republican, there is a reason why minorities don't trust or vote for republicans. I agree that minorities also need to stop blindly giving our vote to Democrats as well.

I think it’s the whole “America for white people” thing the GOP has going at its core even though they hate to talk about it.

Considering the DNC platform, I'm surprised so many Jews vote Democrat.

    Maybe less

The point is the Asian vote is not as one sided

as the Black vote yet people editorialize it as if it were. Si?

Because people like you will ostracize them from the racial community and call them horribly racist names for being independent thinkers?

That's bullshit, people are free to think anyway they want to. My problem comes when you attack your own people and the bow down to others. Now run and tell that.

You called a passel of Black Pastors "Bootlickers" because they wanted Maxine Waters censured. You're saying that people are free to think however they want so long as they agree with you - and if they don't, THEN they're bootlickers - because the Black Community is some kind of monolithic hive-mind where disagreement with their own leaders means being some kind of race-traitor.

Why shouldn't Harvard, a private university, get to decide how to judge it's applicants? Do you think they should only be judged by test scores and grades? I don't think that's the best way to pick students.

And, what exactly does Harvard's admission board have to do with the Democratic party? The two are completely unrelated.

Let me explain this for you one more time since you can't seem to comprehend my words. They are bootlickers for attacking a black woman who is speaking out against injustices she thinks is being done by this administration. Now how is it you only see these ass clowns attacking someone black. Why don't we hear from them when unarmed black men are being shot down, why didn't we hear from any of them during Charlottesville when the president was making his asinine remarks, why don't we ever see any these boot lickers in the hood speaking to the young bruthas in the streets and I could go on and on but what would be the use. You love these bootlickers because they are scared and that's the way you like it.

Not as one-sided as the black vote

But that means its still only slightly as bad for republicans

They can judge them on many factors, but not sex, race, or religion.

    Try to keep up.

When you senselessly reflect an argument back like that, you expose yourself as unworthy of consideration.

The political forums equivalent of “i know you are, but what am I?”

I don’t know, maybe they vote Democrat because of this asinine and moronic tendency of some Republicans to pigeonhole them into stereotypes.

    https://www.researchgate.net/public...ess_Harmony_or_Conformity_A_Cultural_Analysis

    Exerpt from conclusion (emboldening added):

"In the present set of studies, we examined how values for uniqueness or conformity are manifest in mundane actions that are similar to those composing the small moments of everyday life, and in so doing, we have tried to illustrate the process of culture and psyche making each other up. We found cultural divergence in values, beliefs, and affect: Where Americans preferred uniqueness, East Asians preferred conformity, and these preferences were associated with divergent individual actions."

Is it still 'pigeonholing into a stereotype' if its scientifically evidentiary?

Again with the “I know you are but what am I” level argument.

I would refer you to my previous post to say I'm not one of those Republican whiners. At the current time in our history, I don't think it's worth it to throw any resources on courting the minority vote for the GOP. They've already wasted millions on that over the decades with a smaller percentage of that vote then ever.

    So no whining.

However let's be frank, you don't really have any choice but to blindly give your vote to the Democrats. I mean, where are you going to go? The Greens? But given that, Blacks don't use the power they have in the Democratic Party to focus on their own issues. They seem content to accept the leftovers. You guys could force the issue of reparations onto the party and they wouldn't have any choice but to accept it, if Black people really wanted to make it a priority.

Just using reparations as an example. I'm sure there are other issues that are important too.

The thing is a lot of elections are really close. That makes minority turn out for the Democrats crucial in a lot of races. The white vote isn't all bunched up with the GOP anyway, as this forum filled with old angry white male libs makes clear.

Asian Americans encompass an extremely wide swath of peoples. How quaint that you feel they should all vote in unison.

...and the rest of it is whataboutism. And ultimately useless.

I do comprehend your words. They still ultimately boil down to this: Disagree with Waters and it can't be because she's wrong - it's because they're bootlickers. And for all intents and purposes you still don't really have an argument as to why they're wrong.

I don't like Trump - I've said it often enough. I don't believe he should be prez. Of course, the problem was also I didn't want Hilla in either but that's another story - so don't look to ME to defend this admin overmuch. Nevertheless, just because Trump sucks doesn't make Waters any better, and lately she's been even worse. Heck, I'm starting to suspect that she's secretly on Trump's payroll TRYING to make him look good.

They are voting in unison. the vast majority vote Democratic, yet you have no problem with that.
