I've been waiting for the Left to weigh in:

 

Illegal aliens aren’t a race either, yet criticizing either one gets you called a racist. When the left stops calling everything racist then many things will no longer be racist, things like the names of insects and astronomical bodies.

 

Because others are ignorant means you want to be like them?

 

All you had to do was condemn the Black shooter like you're expecting people to condemn the white one but you're unable to do so.

The left quickly jumped non Fox News and Tucker Carlson and blamed them for this shooting. Even a former press secretary for Clinton got into the act. Their Tweets can be seen at the below link.

You've got some weird ideas. When they say "do a background check" were you under the impression that some government agents were digging into someone's social media posts looking for alarming posts and denying their purchase based on that? You couldn't be more wrong. Nobody, anywhere in America, does that sort of "background check" for a firearm purchase. It's a simple database check: Person X wants to buy a gun. Are they in the databases of prohibited persons? If yes, deny purchase. If no, approve purchase. That's it. That's the whole process.

As calloused as it seems, I wouldn't cooperate with an FBI investigation in that situation. All communication with them would be through a lawyer.

Well stated QN. !! An accurate description of a culture that is deteriorating under misplaced priorities. It is more than tragic. It is preventable.But that would require a total rethink about priorities........

Better education, health and mental Althea services...........and earlier identification of mental is suss. It is probably too late to change attitudes about guns......... as they are so prolific now.......they are part of the culture. The country is synonymous with weapons and killings.......which places it on the same level as other under developed violent countries..

Sadly........for supposedly developed nation..........the USA is very violent.......... creating a reality that is disconnected. (between progress and tribalism)

A lot of blame laying........but no introspection.that might bring abut the change in human behavior that is necessary.

All the more reason to have better mental health services...........and identify probes earlier and follow them up...........and not let them fall through the cracks. It seems that too much of a stigma still exists in some minds...........and this holds folks back from getting help. Or listening to others who suggest getting help. Also people don't want to be seen as 'weak"........in a culture that emphasizes "strength" and discards anyone that is deemed "weak"

 

And it takes skill,training and above all PRACTICE to make that work in the coordinated fashion that it must. A squad of soldiers is a functioning machine, far more than just a few armed men thrown together

 

There were LOTS of guns there. Simple numbers dictated they had to conserve ammunition

 

You can't shoot someone with a gun that isn't there, and it's far easier to kill someone with a gun than nearly anything else.

 

So now we have to see getting morning coffee as an active combat situation? Sorry, won't work. The most highly trained soldiers there are can't take more than a few months of active combat without succumbing to battle fatigue (which may be why we are seeing so many insane massacres)
