    I never said that he wasn't attacked but they give them tazers for that reason. Unless the officers life is directly in danger his gun shouldn't have even been out

    "WILL they get shot?" A rather poorly worded question, IMHO. So, I voted "other" -- because every situation is different. It is not cut in stone that everyone who attacks a police officer WILL get shot. They may just get the crap knocked out of them and then dragged off to jail. Or, they may indeed get shot and killed. Why am I even wasting time typing this...?

    And that is why they we wait to see if his life was in danger no one knows at this this point.
