You're right, people will put off making money because nobody likes President Obama. How many tinfoil hats do you own?

Why are those the standards for economic health? What we need are jobs and GDP growth, the issue of the dollar doesn't matter unless inflation reaches high levels, which it is nowhere near now. And the debt is much more of a long term structural problem, NOT a short term problem that matters to the current economy. On top of that, more people working and GDP growth will mean more tax revenue as well, which is good for the deficit and the debt. Why do people create these absurd and irrelevant standards for success?

PS. Of course Obama has little to nothing to do with this, but the reality is he will get credit for any economic uptick from the public whether he deserves it or not!!

Nope, what's happening is that Europeans are buying dollars and T-bills in droves, despite the efforts of the **********s to sabotage our economy

It must suck when the entire world believes in the US economy but conservatives don't.

your logic is faulty and you don't know what you're talking about, it has been confirmed

“We Are Not Hiring Until Obama Is Gone”

It’s no wonder that businesses will not commit to hiring new personnel, and only grudgingly replace losses due to attrition.

Why would anyone hire right now?
You have a horrible healthcare law, that they don't even know how is going to affect their businesses, along with bush tax cuts that seems to be up in the air every two years.

Are you aware how far major businesses plan out their budgets? We're talking years.

Oh ya, let's not forget our economy is horrible.
So who's logic is faulty again?

The title of this thread should read "Stocks surging despite Obama's, and his liberal friend's, policies"

You liberals crack me up. When stocks plummet its "Obama inheritted this horrible mess, bush's fault blablabla"

When there is some moderately good fiscal news "Obama single handedly has propped up wall street through no discernable action just him being in office"

Anyone of you ever think that the overall market surge could have anything to do with record reports from black friday-cyber monday weekend?

I personally have made less money this year than in recent previous years but ive been saving and living like a pauper, because of this Obama economy, all year so that i can afford a nice christmas for my family. so basically "despite OBama" i spent more this holiday than i did in years previous because ive learned to adapt to this Obama era depression.

I'm so sick of liberal arrogance, bigotry and hatred.

    "Bad news for the right".

How is the stock market climbing "bad news" for anyone?

Does the OP really think that Republicans want to keep this (*)(*)(*)(*)ty economy going just to spite Obama?

    What do liberals think?

That if the economy improves somehow all of America is going to suddenly be so grateful to Democrats and Obama that they'll give the Democrats back a supermajority?

You think you'll get back a majority in the Senate and the House?

Even with a good economy I don't see that happening and without that, we continue with gridlock.

Of course not, because the Republican house members who won back the majority in 2010 will say "look at how bad the economy was doing before I was elected, and how well it is doing now." Obama will say "Look at how badly the economy was doing when I took office, and it is doing better now." Of course both arguments are idiotic, the former even more so, but what do you expect? That is politics. Take credit for every good thing that happens anywhere ever, and disavow any negative consequences of any action you take, and blame the other side for those failures. It is all like a fun game we get to watch play out.
