SteveO gave the sharks what they wanted: more on the Russians meetings with Jared and Manafort in July 2016. Collusion. This was confirmed by four sources who had direct knowledge of the hearing.

    ______________________

The Axios report, based on four sources with direct knowledge of the Tuesday interview, said Bannon told congressional investigators he had spoken with other senior White House staffers about a June 2016 Trump Tower meeting that Donald Trump Jr., then-campaign chairman Paul Manafort and Jared Kushner had with a Russian lawyer offering dirt on Hillary Clinton.
Axios characterized the moment as a "slip-up" that stood out from the rest of Bannon's testimony, because he otherwise had declined to answer questions related to his time at the White House and during the transition.

Bannon's Hill appearance reveals White House effort to restrict testimony
The report said Bannon's lawyer Bill Burck said at the start of the session that Bannon would decline to speak about his time at the White House or during the transition but that Bannon made his remark about the Trump Tower discussion within the first 90 minutes of a hearing that ran more than 10 hours.

But is Axios actually correct in that Bannon slipped up? After all, Bannon had already gotten into hot water with trump for speaking out about this meeting, according to that Wolff book, and never denied saying that to Wolff. So, this was already known, nothing new. What is new is that Bannon said he talked to other people in the trump campaign about it.

Bannon take the 5th? We would have heard that from the 4 secret sources, surely.

Axios assuming Bannon slipped up is shoddy journalism, if you want to make a stretch and call it journalism. Since it is devoid of standards, i.e, other sides of a story, it is nothing but faux journalism. Opinion represented as fact. Quite disgusting actually, but it illustrates what the media has become. Propaganda outlets.

Real journalism, real journalists, use standards, and one of them is, you cover all sides, even if there are more than two. You provide the citizen with as much info as possible, on all sides. The citizen then takes this info and using his brain, processes it, to come to his conclusion. But if you are told what to think by a journalist, you are being propagandized. You are allowing some jack wagon, who is more than likely biased with an agenda, to do your thinking for you, by leaving out the other sides to a story. I find this so alarming, for it is what most people are fed, and they never have to think out anything. Cannot be good for our society, and is certainly not good if you want an informed public, instead of a left/right, brainwashed public.

I am worried that since no one thinks anymore, we only parrot what a faux journalist tells us, that we may end up mumbling to ourselves, as we crap on ourselves because we forgot how to think to go to the rest room. Like a muscle, if you do not use your brain, it withers away. And blooming idiots will vote for anyone journalists tell them to vote for.

Four sources with direct knowledge said it was a "slip up." Axios assuming that Bannon slipped up is great journalism. It is full of sources that are incontrovertible. To suggest otherwise is faux criticism, opinion presented as fact, which is quite disgusting actually. But that illustrates what Fake Alt Right Media has become.

Trump won't be at all happy with Sloppy Steve now. Of course, Mueller won't be too happy with Dumb Donny for trying to obstruct justice (again), either.

Did you consider these 4 sources were partisans? What?? Partisans in congress? Who woulda thunk that? lol

Anyone who would break their oaths to not leak inside, private info, should be trusted? lol You know, these leakers never give us their names. I just never trusted partisan leakers, especially the rabid kind that hate trump. I would just as soon leave my granddaughter with a child molester to babysit. Which I would never do.

An opinion from a trump hating partisan is as untrustworthy as a con man in a walmart parking lot. I would think you should know and understand this?

LOL. I not only did not vote for the man, but I would not vote for him if he runs again. I don't like his personality, the bombastic egoist, but unlike some of you jack wagons, I am fair about it, and will not indulge in this nonsense, where you will not even admit the truth that partisans were the leakers, and they hate trump, and journalists are nonexistent today. I will not be a deceitful bastard, just because I don't care for the personality of trump. And I cannot tolerate hypocrisy either. Imagine that, a moral man on a political forum!! Gotta be a rarity, huh?

I think this trump hatred is some sick sh*t, a mental illness, of sorts. Or just an immorality so deep as to be incurable. Principled men do not act the way your team acts. I want no part of it, but that does not make me a lover of trump. Just a fair minded fellow. And a FDR kinda liberal/progressive, which is also rare today in the democrat party. So I left them, because of people like clinton, and obviously, people like your gang. Faux liberals, faux progressives ,and nothing but post modernists from what I can tell. And very hate filled human beings. It makes me feel ashamed for you boys. NO, I do not see you as men. Sorry. Reminds me more of gossipy old maids, who have nothing better to do.

Here, how about some eye and ear candy for the trump haters and Bannon hating crowd. I am sure you will love this.

Now, while I happen to like Bannon's position on open borders slave labor globalism, being an FDR Progressive myself, I have no idea what Steve will do, in front of the grand jury of Mueller. I hear he has lawyered up, which is good, given what Mueller is. A grand fisherman, on a huge fishing expedition, politically and deep state driven, IMO. And we all know Mueller wants to get trump's boys for doing something, and since collusion never happened, he will settle for perjury, if Bannon forgets to dot one I or cross one T.

I guess you don’t see the humor here. You cloak yourself as morally superior because as you say, “ I am, fair about it” ...and then you spew venom that those of us who dislike this despicable man “ have some sort of mental illlness” sounds like you are the one who is so hate filled. Calling everyone “faux”..you sound like a gossipy old man who has nothing better to do,
For one who who can’t “tolerate hypocrisy” you sure are a hypocrite. You remind me of the people who spew racism and get offended when called on it. You like trump but not personality...you’re too in love with him to see that this personality is hurting the country, making it totally divided and the laughing stock of the world. I am ashamed for you

I see collusion on the part of Hillary Clinton along with the DNC and the Russians.

Though there is whining that some dirt was promised to the Trump Team, the Democrats paid a lot of money for dirt from Russia.

I am sick of the daily attacks on Trump. They never would have liked it had we done it to Obama. Even when Clinton was severely in trouble with the law, we did not hate the man. I felt all in All Clinton tried to work with the republicans.

We do not see Democrats working with republicans today. They have views set in concrete and won't allow government funding until they get some illegal aliens taken care of first.

When Illegal aliens are more important to Democrats than we citizens, time to shove the Democrats out.

I wish he had not tried so hard to appease republicans and not try for single payer Insurance. No I have no remorse, I thought Obama did a fabulous job saving the country from a depression. Was he perfect? No but he left President Trump and economy that was rising in the stock market that tripled and I hope Trump will continue and not mess it up the way George Bush did

Forgive me if I have to laugh that you did not hate Clinton. The degree of hatred was dangerous to the country. The man couldn’t concentrate on the duties of his job because the Republicans were determined to kick him out of office. Wasting time and millions because he lied about a blowjob. That’s called hate . Do you think the Republicans tried to work with obama ? They admitted they wouldn’t ...that is putting the hate for him, before the country. . Most of the country and the world respected Obama, Today most of the country dislikes Trump and most of the world especially our allies hate him and for good reason he is a narcissistic buffoon

I'm trying to figure out what alternate reality I've somehow stepped into where Bannon supports open borders (or even slightly less restrictive immigration . . . even a hair less restrictive) and globalism.

Self descriptive justifications from ignorant jackholes on the internet are fun, though.

We would all see a lot more American flags flying at events were we to get rid of the Democratic party.
