They do have bigger battles- actual relevant things like the economy.

While I do not doubt that there are Republicans in the House who would impeach any Democratic President regardless of the reasons, I think it is obvious that most House Republicans are busy with governing and trying to get re-elected, rather than pandering to far right whackjobs.

 

For those of us on the far right this is just a compliment. But you're right, unfortunately, we'll all have to be subjected to Obama's face for some time still.

Socialism isn't illegal (but that's stupid since he has helped capitalists make so much money), he's not an illegal alien, and being a muslim isn't illegal let alone unconstitutional even if he was one.

Bush talked about Islam more than Obama has, did you try to impeach him?

 

Socialism is legal at the state level, unconstitutional federally. You don't know what he is, you just trust your handlers.

Just because someone says they're a Christian doesn't make them Christian. There's an interview on Youtube where you hear Obama actually say, "My Muslim faith."

I am not thrilled with Obama, but every time I compare, I still think "Better than Bush, still better than Bush".

And looking at the crop of Republican candidates- I feel the same way. John Huntsman I propably would have voted for- the rest? Naaah.

 

Socialism is not 'illegal' at the federal level, nor is it Unconstitutional.

However, it must reasure you that none of our politicians actually are socialists.

Who cares whether Obama is a Christian or a Muslim? The bigots care.

Want to do a quick test to see how offensive this could be- just imagine if instead of "Muslim" we used "Jew"- and if people were suggesting that Obama was a secret Jew. The heart of these rumors is pure religious bigotry.

Think of the hypocrisy of Watchman's statement- 'just because someone says they're a Christian doesn't make them Christian- and then refers to something Obama said to insinuate that Obama is a Muslim because of what he said.

There is no religious test in order to be President. The President is not required to be Christian- Jews, Muslim, Hindu's, Mormons, Budhists- none of them are prohibitted to be President.

It can be important to voters- some of whom apply a religious test to their votes. Some evangelicals are supporting Santorum simply because he reflects them- and some of these are the same people who complained that blacks voted for Obama just because he is black.

But no one can define for someone what their faith is. Romney calls himself a Mormon- and a Christian. Some Christians won't vote for a Mormon- and say that he is no Christian. Many evangelicals don't believe certain other denominations of Christians or Catholics are real Christians.

In the end, faith is a personal matter. If a politician or anyone else declares he is Christian or Jewish or anything else- there is no way to prove it one way or another- it is a personal matter.

But the one thing that is clear- the malicious rumors that someone is a 'secret' Muslim is just as bigoted, and just as wrong, as how 50 years ago people who spread rumors that someone was a secret Jew to try to hurt them politically.

Just pure bigotry.

So this is a pitch for people to send you money for a 'school project'?

Once again, I can only encourage anyone who agrees with you to send as much money as they can to you- mortgage their homes, sell their dogs, stop sending money to Stormfront- send it all to this guy.

But maybe you should consider a different school? Since Barack Obama released his 'full' birth certificate in April 2011, maybe you should attend a school that will teach you basic research skills?

You are correct.

I think that "socialist" is a very broad statement these days; its definition isn't as 'narrow' as many seem to believe.

There are plenty of capitalists, who realize AND advocate for certain things which are socialist in nature.

Personally, I think the Cold War era left such an impression upon many, that ANYTHING labeled "socialist" triggers images of the old Soviet Union or something similar.

For example, I'm for certain things which promote the general well being of this nation; and I believe that ALL should contribute (since ALL certainly benefit). Some label that socialist, without considering the value in it. But in other ways, I'm all for the notion that if a person has worked hard or created a product which sets them above many others, they should receive the financial rewards commensurate with that they are producing. Even so, "making it" should not relieve anyone of the responsibility to contribute to the very society which was foundational in them attaining their wealth.

Too many people get the notion that they can get rich, and not care about the society that helped them get there. That is a big problem today, and we need to get a handle on that, or no matter how wealthy a certain few may become... this society or the foundation of their wealth will surely crumble beneath them.

 

Not liking his policies is not grounds for impeachment.
