Though she referenced three states by name and suggested inflation and low stock in stores are a new problem, she did not, of course, note that the graphic the show displayed featured an 11-year-old photo from a different country altogether.

Personally, I would be embarrassed if I made that many mistakes, by I have to remind myself, that in this day and age of Trumpism, reality doesn't matter. !!!

I can't speak for anywhere else but I know the stores where I live don't have that problem. Last year when things first started happening there was a shortage of toilet paper, but that was the only time. Although I suppose U should add that some of the restaurants aren't always able to get a delivery for some reason or another. That may or may not be related to any of this. Just putting my own experiences out there.

 

All of the stores here have full shelves.
(And, I haven't heard about any of this BS happening, even in neighboring states).

Full shelves? They’re actually full? I went to one of our four Walmart’s on Sunday and to a different one this morning, between the two of them this is what I saw was missing on the shelves:

soups were very low
Pasta was completely gone
Frozen potatoes were gone
Rice was almost gone
frozen pizzas totally gone but just certain brands
Certain brands of frozen foods were gone
Cat food was running low
They had chicken but no thighs, none

there’s more but I can’t remember what they were

 

EXCEPT--My "anecdote" represents over 95% of the Country...

Just wondering, how is the failure of the free market to build in even a tiny bit of robustness in the supply chain Biden's fault? Would all shelves be always full if Trump was still president? If so, how?

 

Maybe he's blind? Idk... but he's free to live in denial (and to be unprepared for what's already showing up across the States). Even here in Wisconsin, where we've seemed to have it better than numerous other States do in terms of shortages and prices, I've noticed various items start to deplete from the shelves.

Yup, you are noticing the beginnings of the now-arriving bare-shelves issue, thanks to the Biden Regime's policies. I'll post a list (doesn't belong to me) here, of which I bet that you've noticed these things happening in stores in your area:

(1) A shortage of processed potatoes (frozen specifically).
And/Or a shortage of the ancillary products that are derivates of, or normally include, potatoes.

(2) A larger than usual footprint of turkey in the supermarket (last line of protein).

(3) A noticeable increase in the price of citrus products.

(4) A sparse distribution of foodstuffs that rely on flavorings.

(5) The absence of non-seasonal products.

(6) Little to no price difference on the organic comparable (diff supply chain)

(7) Unusual country of origin for fresh product type.

[8] Absence of large container products

(9) Shortage of any ordinary but specific grain derivative item (ex. wheat crackers)

(10) Big brand shortage.

(11) Shortage of wet pet foods

(12) Shortage of complex blended products with multiple ingredients (soups etc)

(13) A consistent shortage of milk products and/or ancillaries.


I've personally began noticing #1, #2, and #11... #13 hasn't been a problem for me (at least not yet), but I do live in Wisconsin and near a bunch of farms. --- I've noticed nothing "completely wiped out", as of yet, but I have definitely noticed "low stock" on a number of things... frozen potatoes and wet pet food being a couple of those things.

 

Just came from the grocery. It was pretty cleaned out....of course a storm that is supposed to dump a foot of snow and ice on us this weekend when we are usually lucky to get a couple inches is at least partially to blame.
