So let the investigation begin, let's see and vett the evidence. An illegal vote disfranchises a legal vote. Only legal votes that met the rules as established by the state legislature and were cast by the actual voter should be counted. And the Dems/Left/MSM needs back off and allow it to happen. Let's not forget the 8 years of Bush43 and the claims still made he stole the election and the SCOTUS named him President so he was not legitimate and the entire 4 years of the Trump administration and the investigations and phony claims and the 25th amendment and impeachment. There is reasonable suspicion of irregularities that may have affected outcomes, and let's be clear there were THOUSANDS of local elections it's not just about the Presidency. This election has been a disaster, we STILL don't have the results and I think ballots are STILL being accept else it just ended in some states. We need to stop the nonsense and get back to simple in person voting with and ID and absentee only under strict conditions.

Barr authorizes Justice to probe 'substantial allegations' of voter fraud
Attorney General William Barr has authorized the Department of Justice to investigate what he says are "substantial allegations" of voter fraud in the 2020 election.

Barr wrote that investigations “may be conducted if there are clear and apparently-credible allegations of irregularities that, if true, could potentially impact the outcome of a federal election in an individual State.”

The development was first reported by The Associated Press on Monday evening.

If you think it all needs to be swept under the rug please explain why vis-a-vis the contentions against the legitimacy of Bush43 and Gore fighting in court for 37 days, and the corrupt investigations into Trump and calls for him to even be removed.

PA election law allows late absentee and mail-in votes to be counted, under certain conditions.

    its not fraud.

I think it is well within the public interest to conduct an exhaustive investigation after all the claims the POTUS has made of voter fraud and of a rigged election. However, if these investigations fail to turn up a sufficient degree of fraud to establish a conspiracy to elect Biden and he still ends up with enough electoral votes to win the overall election, will you be satisfied with that result and agree that the election was not fraudulent?

Further to that, if the POTUS continues to balk about a rigged / fraudulent election in the wake of investigations that fail to establish such, will that influence your opinion?

I trust the Justice Department will find a few little incidents of fraud.

nothing that can flip a state or even 100 votes.

    its over guys.

All Barr has to do is get a case up to Trumps court and he wins the election.

It seems like RCP is the more legitimate of the two, since they are the one reporting facts.

    not exactly.

Congress still has to certify the Electoral Votes.

if they feel the SCOTUS ruled incorrectly or due to bias, they can tell SCOTUS to **** off and keep Biden as President

No they can't. The Court overrules Congress. :)

Cite the law because as I have read, PAs gov asked for an extension and was denied so he took it to the PA court which allowed it. That is unconstitutional.

Supreme Court can only throw out votes. They can't control what Congress chooses to do with Electoral College votes.

Congress can decide that if the SCOTUS chooses to flip PA, NV and AZ, that those Republican Electors are null & void, and not count them.

Then we have President Pelosi until some sort of deal is made.

    https://www.legis.state.pa.us/cfdoc...Type=HTM&yr=2020&sessInd=0&smthLwInd=0&act=12

The official absentee voter ballot shall state that [a voter] an elector who receives an absentee ballot pursuant to section 1301 and whose voted ballot is not timely received by the commission and who, on election day, is capable of voting at the appropriate polling place may only vote on election day by provisional ballot[.] unless the elector brings the elector's absentee ballot to the elector's polling place, remits the ballot and the envelope containing the declaration of the elector to the judge of elections to be spoiled and signs a statement subject to the penalties under 18 Pa.C.S. § 4904 (relating to unsworn falsification to authorities) to the same effect.

The official mail-in voter ballot shall state that a voter who receives a mail-in ballot under section 1301-D and whose voted mail-in ballot is not timely received may only vote on election day by provisional ballot[.] unless the elector brings the elector's mail-in ballot to the elector's polling place, remits the ballot and the envelope containing the declaration of the elector to the judge of elections to be spoiled and signs a statement subject to the penalties of 18 Pa.C.S. § 4904 (relating to unsworn falsification to authorities) to the same effect.

Seems pretty clear according to PA voting law, that late absentee and mail-in ballots can be counted under certain circumstances.

The state legislatures in the disputed states are all Republican majority, correct me if I'm wrong.

Sure they can and you can thank your boy Thomas Jefferson for giving them judicial review. They can rule anything they want and if you don't like it your only option is to go to war and Trump commands the military.

You are screwed no matter which way you turn.
