Garland's senate confirmation vote to the DC Circuit was a ho-hum 76-23. Hardly high praise. Sitting on the DC circuit, Garland voted against individual gun rights in what became the Heller decision.

 

Give that liberal piece of (*)(*)(*)(*) the Bork treatment. Or the Clarence Thomas treatment.

 

His nomination would ensure the end of the second amendment.

 

Worse than that. He gets nothing.

So, we had a US district court rule against the ban. The DC court of appeals rule against the ban. Then a vote for a complete review by the entire DC board was voted on, which Garland voted in favor, and this equates into gun grabbing?

You are welcomed to your opinion, but do you have any idea who is Sri Srinivasan and what decisions he actually made while on the DC Court of Appeals?

 

The only problem is, Orrin Hatch doesn't speak for the millions who support the 2nd amendment!

obama is a gun grabber. He failed in fast & furious, he failed in the so-called "universal" background check, he failed in the illegal ban on green tip ammo. The fact that obama - the former Director of the Joyce Foundation, the most extreme anti-gun organization in the US, maybe the world - has failed multiple times to grab guns does not change the fact he is a graboid.

 

Proud of Obama for picking a centrist moderate. That was the right thing to do. Now I expect the right to do the wrong thing which is fabricate reasons why this moderate centrist is some type of liberal conspiracy plant who wants to destroy America yada yada yada.

 

Attention NRA members: The majority of the sane population does not vote on a single issue, such as gun control. Nor would they oppose a perfectly qualified and moderate SC nominee because he once made a minor ruling that the gun nuts didn't like. Of course, the GOP has sold out to the NRA a long time ago, instead of listening to what normal people want, who do not have a stash of 30 guns at home and run in panic to the next gun store to increase their gun and ammo stash after each mass shooting.
