Never heard of it. This song has "bastard" and "executioner" in it though. Great song
I have not seen #2 yet. #1 was a Stinker. Great History Period Piece with no lure to draw me into watching again. Oh his personal, psychological anguish It must be a British Production to make it so, very boring. Thank the Lord good Americans produce Vikings for History Channel because, we know how exciting Vikings could be as a British Production! fershur
Aye, if you went into it expecting authenticity, you were already defeated. The wardrobe alone is atrocious. The storyline is weak, but entertaining in a mindless sort of way, and it sure beats most of the crap on regular TV. Wish he would do a show on one of the pay channels (HBO, Showtime, etc...), and just go all out brutal. Maybe a western. [sarcasm ; off - - - Updated - - - Can't seem to get into the Fear series, and The Strain is already getting old. I can't stand never ending shows that never actually resolve anything.
Yep stopped watching it early on but the wife watched it all. All good stories have an ending. Lame writers leave you hanging with the excuse, it was left that way so the viewer could decide for themselves. Heck I would rather see three alternative endings, rather than be left hanging. JMHO.
Ask your wife, "Lost" was a special experience, if you experienced it all. Maybe not everyone's cup of tea, but special.
She liked it. Think she watched it twice. I like good story lines, realistic action, and good characters. Long drawn out, going on forever just isn't my bag. There is an audience just not for me.
Lost was indeed a fun experience. I just wish they found a way to tie it all up and end it satisfactorily. I was really disappointed with the last season of the show. All those years of promising answers, and when they got to the last season it's like they realized they were in over their head so they gave out a really predictable, clichéd, half-ass resolution. Still a good show, though.
Similar to Mad Men, no ending is gonna satisfy all. Although I hated to see it end, it took me a while to be satisfied it was all Jack's Dream as he was dying. I think Still it had a good cast of people who were out of their league and character of previous performances. Google Eyes worked Comedy and Mean Father worked nice guy roles before. And now we all know who Evangiline Lilly is. Similar to some Star Treks, there was a bit of continuing story in each episode which could stand on its' own if that was all a viewer watched. Like the Fugitive in the sixties, Lost had fans to the final episode. It was a creative and appreciated phenomena too little found in today's pablumized scripts ! Oh and I tried to watch Bastard Executioner again, What A Stinker! Moi r > g The banks are made of marble with a guard at every door their vaults are filled with silver, honest people labored for. I honestly do not mind the continuous story aspect, like the Fugitive (someone mentioned), Son's of Will Sonnet, The Immortal, even the Incredible Hulk, type of older shows were short stories within a common goal or aspect. That I can relate too. Looking at newer formats based on that style, Blacklist does it well, Revolution did not, which is probably why it got cancelled.
