    How can you be sure your "god" and "Satan" aren't one and the same ???

    There were all sorts of idols that had god names in the Old Testament. Dagon, Baal, and many others. All were Satan inspired counterfeits men used in rebellion against God.

    God is love. Every lost soul will have rejected multiple opportunities to be saved. Peoples probation has run out and been exhausted historically and everyone alive at that point will have made an affirmative decision for or against him and those engaged in the active persecution and hunting of His believers at the point of the 2nd coming will bear the brunt of what’s described.

    you can positively affirm, but the moment you use your belief to assign your gods retribution on non believers, you isolate yourself in your own self righteousness. Holier than thou is not a good look for any follower of ANY religion.

    there is no cruelty involved in the dealing with the wicked then. They will all pass almost instantly as His coming is part of the final plague that only falls upon the lost. Sinful beings can not survive in the presence of God.

    True. That’s why Jesus came here to live a perfect life as a person to prove that God was not unfair in His law and to die in our place for all of our sins. Those who believe and accept this sacrifice/ gift to us will not die the 2nd death. Those who follow after the evil one and or simply refuse the gift will simply be left to die for their own sin along with Satan and his angels.

    I already answered that earlier in the thread on page 2. The effects of sin fall upon the just and the unjust sinners all. Being forgiven of sin doesn’t exempt us from living here with its effects, The final plague will fall upon and kill only the wicked as the righteous are ascending to meet Him in the clouds to go to Heaven then.

    never quite could get that whole died for my sins dogma. God didnt' sacrifice anything and neither did Jesus. Jesus is an aspect of the God who resides in your heaven Cant say God in his Jesus manifestation actually sacrificed anything of spiritual or material substance, God being God and all.

    Current suffering is because of sin. Sin is the result of Satan’s rebellion against God. Blaming God for the natural consequences of sin or for the unnatural evil acts of people toward other people that cause death and destruction on God is just wrong.

    good cops save, bad cops kill innocent people, just like any other criminal

    If "others do protect themselves, but still get it and die", does that mean that Trump is not responsible for what's happened?(Hint: duh). And does that equally mean our new stooge won't be any 'better'(or worse)? Yes, it means that too.

    Critical thinking is something we lost for the last four years, the best benefit to a Biden Presidency would be getting that back.
