Someone who had as realistic a chance at winning the DNC Primary as Bernie.

Actually it has turned its back on common sense, something Bernie has never had.

He had his ass whipped handily for the same reason Tulsi Gabbard did--the DNC is rotten to the core. It is owned by the same outfit that owns Barack Obama, and the CIA is pulling the strings.

Sadly, that's true. Practically any Republican but Trump (well, excepting for the real crazies, like Bobert or Cruz) would be better than Hitlerclone, but who would that be? Trump is going to tolerate no one but himself and the Party is his mouthpiece, formally recognized as such by themselves

Again, I think we are going to find out in 2022 that the American people can recognize nightmare scenarios that have existed as cautionary tales in the narratives of all democracies since 1933 if not long before that. More than anything else Americans don't like fawning toadies, and Trump will tolerate none other.

The are finding out that crime and a lousy economy are not winning campaign issues, so they are working like Trojans to federalize election cheating. It is their last and only hope.

Biden's going to beat him. Hopefully so bad that not even the mercenaries he hires to back his 2nd coup won't help
By 2024 inflation and covid will be memories and we will all be back to work IF we want to. The pubs will be offering us more tax breaks for the super rich, the end of health care that we'll all by relying upon and a return to kissing our boss's ass to keep our bullshit jobs all presided over by a guy who thinks wind generators kill birds and go REARR, REARR, REARR. Yeh, that's gonna go over bigly.

Being arrested for offering a drink of water from your bottle to the old person next to you in the waiting line who looked faint is election cheating?

In 2016, Bernie STILL Wouid Have LOST the Primary.
The only difference would have been that the Delegate Count would have been closer.
The Final Vote at the Convention had Hillary at 2,842 and Bernie at 1,865 (with 2,382 needed to win).
Assuming one buys into the notion that the DNC was in the tank for Clinton (and, there are a lot of examples to back that up), even if that sort of "DNC thumb on the scale for Hillary" had NOT happened--Bernie would have STILL LOST.
It just would have been much closer at the convention.

There is a consensus among those who have gamed it out, that Bernie's best case scenario would have been an extra 400 Delegates.

And, instead of Losing 2,842 to 1,865.
    He:would have Lost 2442 to 2265.

    A Loss is a Loss.

In any event, it was always going to be an uphill climb for Bernie (even in the best case).

    Of the 712 Super-Delegates:
    Clinton: 572 1/2
    Bernie: 42 1/2.

    Yes, They Can!
    And, I just did.

Except for the folks in their fellow hivemind, the more extreme of the Party has lost everyone, even Hollywood is looking on with worry:

What does America love? Yellowstone. A modern set Western.

Yeah, well, Comrade Bernie also thinks we have too many tooth paste choices and that our well being is hindering "the revolution". But, he does admit the obvious. These Federal Agencies, all largely leftist in outlook, do not mind putting Americans into real danger.

Federal agency penalizes states that arrest African American juveniles at higher rates than they arrest whites juveniles.

"Racial quotas would violate both the Constitution and the law itself."

Well, if their racial disparities in violative behavior in a particular area, what are they supposed to do? This "Wokeness" infecting our Federal Agencies has to be dealt with, and, it's very difficult to dismiss folks for being idiots once they are employed by the Federal government. This is something the incoming GOP majorities are going to have to deal with.

Look for them to get nastier and nastier as their rebuke from the Electorate nears.

GOP pushes back on Dem ‘big lie.’

“Doomsday for democracy if the filibuster were eliminated! Now, of course, Schumer believes the precise opposite of what he said back then. Given his statements and actions, it is no exaggeration to say that Schumer’s hypocrisy, when it comes to the legislative filibuster, is simply off the scale. (McConnell’s is not; when then-President Donald Trump urged majority Republican senators to get rid of the legislative filibuster, McConnell said no.) Why is this fight happening now? Democrats appear to be deeply frustrated by their inability to pass their current top priorities — the far-reaching voting bills, plus yet another huge spending bill — with their 50-vote non-majority in the Senate. Their ambitions have outstripped their power in the Senate for the last year. Now the approach of midterm elections makes it even more difficult to get what they want done. So they are lashing out at Republicans and seeking to change the rules. Look for more, not less, of that as the elections grow nearer.”
