    Obama as a token? A clearly intelligent politician with charm, youth and a message of hope? After Bush no less?
    Even if his skin colour had been different he would have blown Clinton away.

    Bernie has more substance but less charm and looks. It is a shame that it is so but Sanders can imo change that with a good VP pick.

    The Republican party may look diverse to you but their substance is all the opposite. Not one candidate has had anything useful to say about helping minorities nor about immigration.

    If one is objective, it would stand to reason that this will not hurt him at all with latinos. In the same manner as him being endorsed by some rappers and hip hop performers will not hurt him. In the same way the endorsement of the nurses union will not hurt him. In the same way that his appeal to millenials will not hurt him. In the same way as his appeal to the baby boomers who remember an America before Reagan brought back Neoliberalism from the 1920s, will not hurt him. In the same way that appeal to working white people will not hurt him.

    The only people getting hurt, would be the voters who will not vote in their own economic best self interests, as they prefer fascism, oligarchy, over FDR progressivism, which is what sanders represents. And the MNCs, the Virtual States that owe no allegiance to anything but money, as well as the very powerful banking cabal, the folks that get representation in congress while the average American gets ZERO.

    I think that there will be a multitude of shocked people, when sanders wins, even against what the polls said. And he will still help economically those white working GOPhers who have been voting against their self interest since Reagan. For he will represent your best interests, even as you would prefer to cut your own throats, not an arterial cut, but one that takes awhile for you to bleed out into oblivion. He cares more about your kids, than you do.

    I love progressive liberals who think they know more about what's best for me than I do. This kind of thought scares the hell out of me, because it's just one more step in the slipper slope towards an all encompassing nanny state that makes all of your important life decisions for you.

    I like Sanders, but I'm not holding my breath for him to get elected. I doubt George Lopez has the power to alter the future of the United States. He's not Oprah.
