The article says it straight up...

It is an act of SPITE.

And now the food chain oligarchs are passing more processed food on to the folks who could benefit the most from fresh produce.

Sonny Perdue was the best AG leader this country has seen in decades and now Bitter Biden has to curtail what any fair minded individual can plainly see was a good idea.

It was a popular win for the farmers and a popular win for the consumers but not for the food chain oligarchs.

This is China. Farm assistance programs are being cut across the board because China has a far easier time buying up US farmlands and convincing US growers to produce the exports they need when America's farmers are in a weakened economic state. Remember when the WTO claimed that Pres Trump violated international trade regulations when he increased American farm assistance programs back in 2018? Its because China wasn't happy their buying position was impacted by US farming stability.

China owns Pres Biden so expect more of this to continue. In fact, food prices will be one of the three catalysts for the incoming major recession we're going to experience before the decade is out (the other two being fuel prices and inflation). This has all been engineered and Pres Biden's victory moved it from the planning phase to the execution phase. I do hope you're all planning accordingly because the markers for this impending crash are predictable and thus navigable.

Wait a minute! Whenever we note to the leftist that our poor eat themselves to death they claim that is because they do not have access to better food so they HAVE to eat processed food that is bad for them, not true but that is their claim. So here is a program that does distributed unprocessed straight from the farm food to the poor and they complain about that.

I can't even find why the Biden administration is ending it except for it was a Trump program that worked.

I could be wrong but I suspect the pandemic created a problem with food distribution to the needy so Trump helped create a program that was needed quickly to compensate for a lack of logistics created by covid.

The program was fine for what it was but now that we have more time and covid is diminishing they are trying to streamline the program.

This is a lot of supposition on my part but that is what I suspect without partison blinders being on which seems pretty popular these days.
