That property is pretty safe. Very few people can burn several joints in an evening by themselves.

At one point England was boasting and deriving CBD oil from cannabis when the legalization was at it's most vulnerable stage.. I can't imagine the amount of money spent on suppressing that information, but I can tell you it was but a whisper for a very-very short period of time ;)

I meant insofar as keeping it to just Friday after work. You really think they are going to go a week without another hit?

Hell Buri, who smokes that nasty bush.. It's all concentrated 70-92% THC now, MAYBE 1% CBD left from processing..

My recruiter gave me a heads up when I enlisted. I agree they should have known better, but apparently they were lied to.

Which brings up a point no one has mentioned. The administration may have no choice, just like the Navy had no choice but to deny anyone who admitted smoking weed.

MSNBC is a dubious source? And by the way I only watch CNN, Headline News and MSNBC. We don't get Fox News in Puerto Rico.

The left thinks that every media outlet that doesn't agree with them is a dubious source....

The difference is that you can go home on the weekend and drink 12 six packs and as long as you are sober on Monday you are fine. But if you go home on Friday and take two tokes off a bong you could lose your job in a random drug test.

Ahahaha well, the really good stuff in shops is still my favorite. But carts and other concentrates are so much cleaner. Options, are great and don’t get me started on edibles!

It’s different for everyone. Some people can really make it last.

I think it should be up to the user and read the studies citied which specifically noted "smoked".

I get that on a federal level, cannabis is still listed as a Schedule 1 narcotic, but this issue highlights to need for decriminalization. Smoking a bowl is no different that drinking a cocktail or a glass of wine with dinner.

This adherence to an old, racially and monetarily based taboo is ridiculous. I'm now twice disappointed in Biden (the other time being the complete lack of sanctions against MBS).

Shame on our federal government, IMHO.

I don't think we're looking at this realistically. Just for the record, I have a bowl of LA Kush Cake topped with a huge dab of Dog Valley live resin sitting on the coffee table. A half ounce of Jet Fuel Acai in the bedroom, and a 27% preroll sitting around somewhere. The cookies in the kitchen are stale. I'm not big on edibles.

Anyway, we can't forget these are government security clearances we're talking about. Paperwork. Laws and paperwork. If the law says previous marijuana use disqualifies someone from a security clearance, and the government produces signed paperwork (or from an interview) to prove use, I'm afraid Biden's hands are tied.

I haven't looked into current policy or protocol, but this was my experience in the Navy. Granted, that was 46 years ago, but I don't think federal policy has kept up with my state's attitude toward marijuana, or all vices for that matter. Legalize. Advertise. Monetize. I'm sure the feds still want 100% drug-free applicants for security clearances. Perhaps this will change when they drop it from Sched 1.

The prospects should have lied. IMO, anyone not smart enough to know this shouldn't have a security clearance. These are positions that can be filled by a good number of people. I disagree with the policy, but what do I know? I'm sure there's an ample supply of qualified people who haven't smoked weed, so I'm more concerned with the staffing than Biden's marijuana agenda, if he has one. If these people are being replaced promptly, then I really have no issue with it. Hopefully the rejects learned something.

It also talked about CBD quite extensively too.. And to get CBD in those large amounts the compounds have be extracted in to a liquid.. Not trying to argue or lessen anything you have posted! Just that I believe and from experience I don't or have not experienced any sort of pain relief from smoking weed..

On the other hand I have experienced pain relief from CBD patch's, be it psychosomatic or actually working I dunno, but either or, it seems to lessen my hip pain after and during two hour walks..

Lol, Obama and Harris have both admitted to smoking marijuana. One a president, the other the current Vice President! How in the world can they justify firing the people that work for the bosses when they themselves have done what they are being fired for?? Hands tied my ass. There was some ulterior motive for this.

Being stuck in the past can mean different things for different people. For example, consider that Keith Richards and Biden are about the same age.

It appears you didn't read the whole post. I addressed this quite clearly.

Obama and Harris were elected. These are appointees. Big difference.

All security clearance applications ask about prior drug use. The military has/does as well, upon recruitment. The Air Force relaxed its prior marijuana use standards a couple years ago, but I can't find anything on the Army or Navy.

How the hell do they look them in the eyes and say “yeah, I know I did what you did, but you are fired because of it”. I don’t see the difference. thats some silly ****. Oh well.

The reality TV show is over. Competent professionals don't "look each other in the eye."

Congress could pass a law that changes a drug's schedule. I'm all for it. The DEA needs oversight. Call your reps.

Would the White House fire staffers smoking marijuana in Canada, outside our embassy or consulates?

As I have already stated, after the whole border thing going on right now, why would a small thing like "illegal" matter? Why can't Biden simply ignore the law again? The answer is that he can and chooses not to. He also chooses not to try and change the laws that he doesn't agree with.
