    These executive orders appear to be saber rattling because they do not go far enough.

    Bill Clinton banned Assault weapons and made all owners felons.

    There is also no grandfather clause in any of these orders.

    Clinton redefined the term "assault weapon", but did not make all owners felons.

    If there is no grandfather clause, that means confiscation.

    It is a good day for criminals and killers.

    I actually look forward to this being implemented. With the current make up of the court, there is gonna to be a slew of 2nd amendment lawsuits brought and the courts will overturn these silly EO’s and many more current unconstitutional infringements that many states currently impose. And I would love to see them over turn suppressor and SBR class 3 classifications.

    The only "international embarrassment" I see is Biden parroting the words that a cadre of media hipsters are telling him to say. Now that's a real embarrassment.

    Biden is still calling for a ban on certain firearms and high capacity magazines, he also said the few EO’s so far are not enough. This is all stated in the OP.

    I found some other sources but none of them specifically seek to make any weapon besides “ghost guns” illegal. He did call on congress to do something but their isn’t the political will to do so.

    There is a ban on some type of stabilizing device as well as additional reporting from federal agencies. Nothing about taking guns.

    The only person to sign a bill limiting gun rights in the last 12 years was Trump (bump stocks).

    And that was Trump trying to compromise(not that it did him any good). The good news is, all bad political decisions are reversed with a pen(or a press of a voting button) in 2022/2024.

    Biden himself says he wants to ban certain guns and magazines. He didn’t stutter. Regardless, if he does, I will not comply.

    No part. of Biden's proposals include taking guns from their owners. Banning future sales of some guns and magazines, but
    no confiscation. So what wouldn't comply with? Are you going to start buying black market guns and parts?

    Biden has invented yet another term "concealable assault weapon." which is an oxymoron
    Worse than signing a bill. He signed an Executive Order. Of course now Trump and Biden have signed Executive Orders regarding gun control. However, it looks like Trump EO is not going to fly.

    We've had assault weapon bans before - it wasn't the end of the world. I was
    still able to buy the guns I wanted.

    Many States and individuals are not going to comply with Biden gun confiscation any better than States and individuals complied with the Fugitive Slave Acts passed in 1793.
