    That... isn’t what you said

You said “If I had to post under the same standards your last sentence would get a warning but it is what it is..”. Since you didn’t say what you meant, feel free to direct quote me where I said “you are small minded”. Second request.

Or are you so offended you can’t find it now?

Can you quote Democrats prior to Obama saying their only policy goal is to oust the president?

    You said

I have no issues speaking out against violence no matter who is the perpetrators — I don’t understand why is is so difficult for some of you.

    I replied to it..

Simple and anyone reading through the thread can see you trying to conflate two different posts and statements to twist things..

The best solution is for Justice's Thomas and Breyer to retire. Brings the court to a 5-4 advantage Republican with one of the five acting as a swing vote.

He named ( Nominated ) who he wanted. He was not denied anything.

Again... Lame duck President or a President running for re-election.. You keep leaving that out.

Then you claim he was denied a Constitutional right when clearly he was not. President Nominates.. Senate Confirms or does not Confirm.. Its that simple.

And the Senate screwed history. Obama's nomination was held over a year. Not even put in for review by the Senate but completely ignored. By your rational Trump's last nominee should have been held at least a few weeks, not even months, let alone over a year but weeks, to determine if he'd remain president.
You can have one but both is hypocrisy.

Revisionist history always written by Democrats! Always! And if the impeachment's were bipartisan, then why was he acquitted twice? Your statements ring untrue!

Those are direct quotes. From Republicans. During Obama’s term

I have no desire to explain, again, the difference between impeachment and removal.

Impeachment was a partisan attack on the President, just like the Dems were doing every day of his term in office.

Where does he get the authority to tell the SCOTUS what cases they will review and and what procedures they will follow doing so? Has he even discuss with the Chief Justice if he believes his court needs to be reformed?

I don't know what the 'radical left' is, let alone what it will do. I am telling you I will look at the case it makes, with some healthy skepticism myself as its going to have to meet a pretty hefty burden, but I will keep an open mind to it making that case. My mind is not locked shut against it. I imagine the majority of Dems themselves will split 60-40ish one way or the other, once they hear both sides, let alone independents and republicans. Its going to be a tough sell to John Q Public and its going to take at least a decade or two longer to get near a majority even if momentum is on the pro side. .

It is in the statement of purpose of the commission AS I CITED, try again

“The Commission’s purpose is to provide an analysis of the principal arguments in the contemporary public debate for and against Supreme Court reform, including an appraisal of the merits and legality of particular reform proposals,” says a White House press release. “The topics it will examine include the genesis of the reform debate; the Court’s role in the Constitutional system; the length of service and turnover of justices on the Court; the membership and size of the Court; and the Court’s case selection, rules, and practices.

Less than the studies to show that there is not massive vote fraud throughout this country.

Unless there’s a full audit of the envelopes for signature verification (which they’ve never done) then how exactly do you expect any “study” to do that?

In 20 years Trump will be solidified as one of the 5 worst presidents ever and people will wonder what was wrong with the Senate.

Another 20 years after that Trump will be remembered only on Trivia nights..."who was the only person to sever one term as president, lose the popular vote twice and be impeached twice".

Really? So these people are going to work hundreds of hours for free? Who are these paragons of altruistic work?

Almost all of them are law school professors or deans. Work on this commission will be included into their workload for the school. Trust me, they all are getting paid very well by their selective school and this will just add to their list of accomplishments.

Oh so they’re getting compensated by public universities to sit there and do this instead of their actual jobs. So how much will that cost us? Average salary for a professor in a high level institution is $150,000/yr. how long will this commission last and how many people are on it?

So from the reports there are 36 members on this commission. Almost all of them from high level institutions. A 2:1 ratio of libs to conservatives might I add... but I digress. Also this commission is expected to take between a year and two years according to what I just read.

    So 36*150k = $5,400,000 and if it takes two years that’s $10, 800,000.

That’s not considering the opportunity cost to students and the rest of society that is lost where these people are normally paid by us to teach students, perform admin and do research.
