So you're saying you want me to run? Aw, shucks.

But yeah, all those are okay. Yang makes me uncomfortable with this guaranteed basic income. Sounds like money for nothin' and your chicks for free. I like Nikki Haley. And she likes me.

Yang's 'guaranteed annual income' is/was a 'trial-balloon' put up to propose an income-offset caused by what we will see even more of in the very near future -- robotics, and other automation. The eye-popping, preposterous wages being demanded now (while people are evaporating their savings and diving into credit card debt) will only accelerate this dynamic change to everyone's economy.

In other words, a collision point is approaching where 'burger-flippers', et al, demand twenty-bucks an hour, but more and more people start packing their own lunches and eating at home, saying, "Who the hell has twelve fugging dollars, plus tax, for a double-hamburger, fries, and a medium coke...?!" The answer: the Gen Z 'burger flipper' gets fired, and a robot takes his place -- and, even better, the robot doesn't put mucus on the food to spite people 'he doesn't like'....

Anyway, I like your suggestion of Nikki Haley, and I'd certainly consider her as a candidate, along with Yang, Gabbard, Rubio, and perhaps others, too -- but, NO MORE 'MISTER MAGOO', from either the 'woke' Left or the 'RINO' Right! Trump needs to walk instead of riding in the golf cart, lose about thirty pounds, and quietly enjoy being rich. Biden needs to go sit in some comfortable 'home' where he can be watched carefully, and peacefully drool....

Biden is worst president in my lifetime. You would have to go back to the 19th century to find a worse one (maybe Johnson.) Trump was good for policy and bad for communication and personality.

He was the best president in my lifetime IHO,

the bad for communication and personality is mostly a media hype.. he just didn't try to hide his personality, like the pros do. I found him hilarious and doing more for US population than any president.. maybe ever.

    One screw up in my opinion, was his falling for the Covid hysteria;

(the one time he definitely followed the politics.. he'd have been crucified if he hadn't... besides,, he's a germaphobe)

and giving the vaccine producers immunity.

I would rank him the most effective, if not the best. The media martyred him because of his personality. I found him entertaining but that isn't particularly an important characteristic for me. I liked what he did, not necessarily how he did it. If Trump doesn't run, the democrats will lose in 2024 no matter who they run. If he does run somebody with common sense like Joe Manchin could beat him pretty easily, I think. If they run Biden, Harris, Clinton or Buttigieg they will lose even if Trump runs.

The media crucifies EVERY Republican president; if not repub pols in general. You don't remember the hate and vitriol thrown at Bush? and the fact he'd never defend himself, meant he never defended us , his voters, either. That's why I loved what Pres Trump did.. he punched back.
AND I will maintain to this day that if ol' GW'd a had a D by his name, he'd have been one of the most popular Democrats,
    ever.

Both Bush's had it easy compared to Trump. Trump brought most of that on himself. I would watch Trump on TV and switch back and forth between laughs and cringes. What we need is somebody with Trump's agenda and Reagan's behavior.

Trump's agenda was to destroy the Constitution and become a dictator.

What is the clue? He not only tried to overthrow a legal election, he adores cold-blooded killers like Duterte, Jong Un, and Putin. He loves and adores dictators.

UBI makes more sense than any other form of welfare.

It is one single safety net for anyone who falls for any reason.

Back to the OP - what terrible luck Biden has had - soon after becoming president, things he had no control over started going wrong:

    1. A massive crowd at the border immigration facilities was spreading COVID.
    2. We had a gigantic military budget we couldn't afford.
    3. He invited Zelesky to join NATO, and Russia, who drew a red line at Ukraine, actually followed up its warning with action.
    4. Inflation is going up like a rocket; everyone knows Biden is incompetent, and the US has no future unless he goes soon.

He's not doing a great job. But he's doing better than trying to having himself installed as an unelected autocrat. I wish the bar was higher, but it isn't. A pet rock could do better than Trump.

When someone says something as contrived as "a million times better". It's their being emotional without logic.

Trump's agenda was to get his agenda passed just like every other president in history. Only a mind reader would know who or what he adores. Congratulations on your special ability.

and a mirror image of the truth.. Biden was installed to be the face of a hidden autocrasy. The 2020 election was stolen,, the evidence is leaking out, despite the efforts of every branch of the Establishment.
