Wells lets see what he said on Joy Rieds show Monday

"The former vice president swung into his spiel: “I talked early on about the Defense [Production] Act” to order companies to manufacture essential items, he said. Mr. Trump invoked the DPA March 27 to force General Motors to step up ventilator production.

Then, Mr. Biden said, “you need more testing.” More than 50 million tests have been conducted in the U.S., 754,858 on Tuesday alone. Next, he said, “insist that everyone wear masks.” The White House Coronavirus Task Force and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommended on April 3 that everyone wear masks in public.

To help the economy, Mr. Biden proposed to “make sure that people are in a position where they can maintain their businesses.” Mr. Trump signed the Cares Act on March 27, providing $349 billion in partially forgivable small-business loans, later raised to $659 billion. His next idea was to guarantee “no one has to pay for contracting Covid and being treated for Covid.” The Trump administration announced April 3 it would use Cares Act money to pay hospitals that treat uninsured people for Covid-19.

With regard to a vaccine, Mr. Biden said it was essential to “have a command officer now . . . to put together exactly how that will be distributed to over 300 million Americans.” Gen. Gustave F. Perna, head of Army Materiel Command, was appointed chief operating officer of Operation Warp Speed on May 15 to accelerate vaccine production and distribution.

Not a single new idea and he stole what he has from the Trump administration.

Biden could have done the exact same as Trump (and let's be clear, he should not repeat Trump's tactic of lying about the virus, downplaying the threat of the virus, contradicting health experts, and slow rolling testing), but if he had done them a week earlier, one study estimates that Biden could have saved roughly 36,000 lives.

By the way, your article mentions the fact that the CDC recommended wearing facemasks on April 3rd, but the White House has repeatedly - because Trump has personally decided to ignore face masks - repeated the notion that "it is recommended, not required." Do you remember when Trump made fun of Biden for wearing a mask and scolded a reporter for being "politically correct" because he wanted to keep his mask on while asking a question?

    Yea. I remember too.

What Trump already did has failed more than 145,000 Americans in four months.

Trump just started supporting masks, so can tell right there this is fake news

Trump says we need less testing...

Trump should have ordered things like masks to be made

He said back in March if you want to wear a mask wear one to protect yourself. Noe he doesn't support less testing he noted that more testing will of course result in more positive testing. He worked with LOTS of manufacturers to get mask produced.

What NEW idea did Biden propose? Why is he proposing things we have already done as if they are his ideas?

And worked for 1,155,000. What did he fail to do the caused each and everyone one of those persons to contract COVID and what in Biden's new proposals would have prevented them? How would Biden's NOT putting in the travel ban have saved those lives?

Reccomended not required and in fact experts were saying back then that they could actually make matters worse, he asked a reporter to remove his mask because he could not hear him and I vividly recall how on the one day none of the reporters were wearing them and then the MSM decided to make a Trump issue and the next day they were all suddenly wearing them.

Biden new novel idea did Biden propose? He simply plagiarized the administrations.

Worked for 1.15 million? What are you suggesting? That Trump saved 1.15 million theoretical Americans so far?

Initial estimates was it would kill 1,300,000 if you are going to blame him for your 145,000 deaths then give him credit for the ones that did not die and those are those who would have caught it to begin with, how about all those who have not because he is President?

No, the initial estimate from the IHME model championed by the White House was anywhere from 35,000 to 195,000. The Imperial College model (explicitly rejected by the Trump administration) estimated 200,000-2.2 million.

But I am not going to credit trump for saving theoretical lives because this virus can STILL kill 1.3 million.

ROFL that's fact and the fact remains Biden makes the big announcement "here is my plan to fight COVID" and someone needs to whisper in his ear "ahhh Joe the Trump administration has already done those things" so he can

He said the reporter kept his mask on because he was being politically correct. He said he thought some Americans wore masks to express their disapproval of trump. He made fun of Biden for wearing a mask.

And the best excuse you have for those actions is some utterly pathetic repetition of "Trump is always right."

    And you seem to forget
    March 2
"Medical experts have urged people to stop panic buying face masks, warning that such equipment is not an effective way to protect yourself from the fast-spreading coronavirus."
    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/02/cor...s-work-and-how-to-stop-it-from-spreading.html

    That has changed since.

    Thisnis about Bidens CURRENT "plan".

This is about BIDEN'S plans, we have seen Trump's plans in the works and he just held a new press conference to update everyone. Biden claims he is going to do what Trump has already done. Are you going to vote for him because you believe he could have better handled the pandemic by doing what Trump did?

Maybe, but I didn't see any recommendations that we all drink bleach and shine UV lamps up our butt. Nor one single insistence that a drug which has been proven to kill people is "what is there to lose?"

Most importantly, Biden helped Obama set up the Office of Pandemic Awareness. Trump shut that down
