    Divisions inside the DOJ perceived each were making political decisions to affect the race. Some thought Hillary was deemed untouchable just because she was the nominee and likely winner, and others thought the DOJ could not just sit back and let Russia approach Trump while Trump was doing what no one since Nixon had done by not disclosing any foreign contact. THAT was where our institutions failed. And neither party, nor Comey, nor the NYC FBI office is blameless.

    The EC is to prevent sectarianism, and it actually did the exact opposite.

    Barr imo is a republican hack. He's all for congressional power when the dem has the exec and the gop the congress. But I'm hopeful he has limits, and his handling of the Mueller Report hasn't won him allies in the institution. The EC …. eventually it will go the way of the dinosaur, but not soon.

    Trump will win Tex, Fla and NC.

    Ariz, Pa, Wisc and Mich Baby. LOL

    Trump benefitted from the anti-Hillary Democrats and Independents last election, and Trump still couldn't land more votes ... I doubt if the current crop of Dem candidates will make the same mistake and not campaign in the middle of the country.

    Never know until the fat lady sings, however.

    Biden is a gaffe machine. We will do well if his handlers can keep him away from little girls hair, convenience stores, and any microphone within 50 feet.

    What are you talking about? The Clinton impeachment and plea bargain? Barr was all for the law at the time which then said the Independent Prosecutor reported to the Congress with his report and recommendation. Now he is all for the current law which says the SPECIAL Counsel reports to the Attorney General and the Attorney General reports to the Congress and indictments or charges made. He has done that, it's over. No collusion, no obstruction.

    Agreed. What matters is what Democratic Primary voters want. I find it hard to believe that what they want is an old straight white male with gaffes galore and #metoo problems.

    Biden won’t get the nomination. There’s a lot of interesting young talent out there. Unless the Dems really screw the pooch again, they will have a pretty good shot at ousting Trump. Especially if he keeps acting like a whiny little sissy. I think a lot of people are really getting sick of his act.

    I haven’t caught their act since the first gulf war. Can’t stand Wolf Blitzer. However I did like Anthony Bourdain. Too bad about him.

    How do you identify them? From the ads they've run? Then it is too late. You do know the Mueller cribbed his indictment list of Russians from a Russian reporters article. How effective is it to indict Russian nationals? Do you think this can be done in real time?
