I don't know how one should politely respond to clear nonsense. If someone just says "we should raise the fed because unicorns eat parsley" how do you respond politely to that?

 

Well, I dunno. Governments are filled with politicians who don't have any incentive to worry about anything beyond the next election cycle.

The nazis weren't really our problem, just as the kaiser wasn't our problem. If Europeans want to kill each other, that's fine with me. My relatives left that place centuries ago because they're all pretty much crazy.

As for my plan, I don't see a problem with it. As I said, Alaska is a beautiful state, but just too cold at the moment. A bit of global warming would benefit both future Alaskans such as myself, and our wonderful Canadian neighbors to the east.

 

Oh, the last time I saw that guy, he posted a video about evolution that so horribly misrepresented the science that I couldn't have made up a worse interpretation. When I explained some of the actual science, he insulted me and blocked me.

Was your education about Evolution? Did you read and study the awesome book called the Cradle of Life? I have studied that book and do highly recommend the book. Professor Schopf is the author.

 

Much higher than that, but IQ is a pretty nebulous measurement. So, I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

Yeah, probably we started learning about it a lot earlier. I wouldn't by embarrassed be your books on biology no matter how big that number was. What would make you think it would?

 

Your first question is a false dilemma. There are other options like believing doctors who have studied the effects of smoking, or simply not caring. My wife is a nurse, so I'm used to her telling me that certain things aren't healthy or can be dangerous. If it was up to her, my only enjoyment in life would be pushing the shopping cart past the beer aisle and heading straight to the granola and kale section.

How could I live in alaska if there is no US government? Have you seen that place? It's not exactly filled with helpful government employees making sure that each resident is safely tucked into bed each night. Government isn't going to help you, but you might be able to help yourself.
