I was recently at a concealed carry forum. A thread was posted asking if you were a concealed carrier working in Columbine Highschool and you had your weapon illegally with you, how likely is it that you would be prosecuted if you were to have engaged the cowards. The answers were mainly yes and one even said he would not get involved unless he was personally theatened. I am disgusted that legal issues would even come to mind in our country with which its CONSTITUTION specifically says: " The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed". The fact of the matter is, that many states have open or concealed carry laws. There are numerous americans carrying guns for protection who are not using them illegally. Bad guys need a deterant other than the cops who never get there till the damage is done and the bad guy is gone. Picture hearing guns shots(by under aged cowards with no permits) and screaming children while cops are protecting the perimeter outside while people are dying on the inside. Then picture a law abiding(Constitutionally) citizen worried about loosing his licence and being prosecuted if he stops the bad guys. This is just one example of how government has stolen freedom and humanity. Name another.
