    In secret! Gasp! :roll:

    120 to 150 of the Hoi Poloi gather in Copenhagen behind closed doors with heavy security to set their agenda for undermining the masses and raping the poor. They seek the rape our natural resources and take every one of our dollars or Euros possible. :eyepopping:

    And, reporters are not allowed. We all know what that means, don't we? :thumbsdown:

    Well, Al Jazeera America is the first one I've encountered to report this so read more @ http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2014/5/29/bilderberg-conferencesecret.html

    Uh? Why don't you check directly their official website, in particular the webpage dedicated to their meetings?

    It says ...
    Take a look: http://www.bilderbergmeetings.org/index.php

    I'm just watching it and no tactical units are attacking the windows of my office [so far!].:fingerscrossed:

    A part hatching a plan to set the world free from loonies?

    I can make the educated hypothesis that this year the meeting will be about ...

    * Russia and Putin's oligarchy
    * The new axis Moscow - Beijing and how to compete in this new geopolitical context
    * Anti-European political movements
    * Privacy [I know it sounds like a paradox that such a reserved group discusses about privacy].

    Then, regarding eventual activities in the shadow, well, in Italy we had the experience of lodge P2, so that we tend to imagine that similar groups of powerful individuals don't gather just to chat ... sure they will organize activities of lobbying at very high level.

    :omg: You believe their PR? A secret cabal meeting behind closed door and barring the press? How can they be up to anything but hatching nefarious plans to make billions more for themselves on the backs of the poor?

    Hmmmmm. :hmm: I wonder .... Are these evil conservatives? :roll: Or progressive thinking moguls seeking to ease the burdens of the downtrodden? :icon_jawdrop: Now I really don't know what to think. :hiding:

    They are "centrists". My opinion comes from the observation of which Italian personages take part to their meetings. Former Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti was there, with Elkann [FIAT ...]. Their natural environment is the Catholic center. They are very similar to a lodge of the freemasonry [in particular the Italian P2 could be a nice comparison]. The presence of UK PM, Cameron has changed a bit the horizon, anyway the British conservatives are not so far from the Catholics as for management of general politics.

    What do they do behind closed doors? Their business ...

    So, to summarize, I would define them as a center-right group. Conservatives, not progressive [with good peace of Bill Gates].

    Anyway pay attention that to attend to a Bilderberg conference is a matter [also Bill Clinton did], while to be in the club is a different matter.

    But the real question is: which is the actual, factual capability to influence centers of powers of the group. Is it an active efficient lobby, or just status symbol?
