You show you do not understand how to interpret a foreign language. Your name in another countries language would not be the same
iedited nothing, merely snipped. edit would mean correcting or changing anything you typed, that idid not do, just getting to the meat of your post, which appears to be a TOTAL NON ACCEPTANCE of Black Yesus. Thanks for being an example for my OP, appreciated.
since ppl here appear afraid of me getting to the meat of their posts ill highlight the point you make that amuses me the most.......there, can you see that? the olive bit. the olive is black. idont know what olives you eat but the only ones ibuy are black, they go great with Ragu, trust me.
its not meant to, its explaining how the term "middle east" is essentially a eurocentric one in that it implies everything revolves around BRITAIN. think about it, east. East of what exactly?
isnipped your post because iwant to get to the meat. is that against TOS? lets assume its not against TOS and continue..skin colour is not important to me at all, therefore ican accept he was black. Can you say the same? that is the real question [did you even read the op?]
indeed! which explains absolutely nothing. never mind the fact that "middle east" is a BS construct invented by whites that determines britain is the focal point of what is east or west. think about it son!
I am hoping you're just attempting humor and not serious. If you really don't understand the difference between a freaking olive that you eat and olive skin tone, I really don't know what to say to you...but to help ya out... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olive_skin But again why does it matter? Would it somehow change your opinion of Jesus if he was a certain race or color?
I surmise dark hair, olive skin. I did see ancient pictures of a traveling Hebrew band painted by Egyptions which correlated to what is in my minds eye. Of course....Esau was a red head......so red heads did exist wi th hin the hebrews...who knows? And...olive isn't black as you mentioned earlier.
His teachings is whats important, something you either don't know or fail to acknowledge. Personally, I don't care what color he his. If you say he's black, he's black to you, that's fine with me. If someone else says he's brown, that too is okay, I don't care. Yellow, red, purple or green with orange stripes and pink pokey dots, all of that is fine. I believe whatever color he was is irrelevant. No one should give an coyote's howl. But one should be paying attention to his teachings and what he had to say. Now can you also say whatever color Jesus was is irrelevant. Apparently not. His skin color is much more important to you than his teachings. That is your problem, my friend. People ought not care what skin color one is or isn't, they should be judge by their character and teachings. Shame you haven't realized that yet. Perhaps one day you will, that what makes a person is a lot more than the color of his skin.
you do not know where the Middle East is? if you do, then you know what people are referring too, which is why people use that term
so youre basing your judgement on what Yesus may have looked like based on some Egyptian paintings? Thats good, you appear to be the only person here capable of critical thinking.
what matters to me is why white folk such as yourself WILL NOT ACCEPT a Black Yesus yet Black folk EN MASSE have accepted the white jesus. something about that is highly suspicious to me..
Hold your horses son, to me? nononono. im afraid the deal is that he is also Black TO YOU! Will you accept Black Yesus?
as Egyptian historian Hassan Hanafi puts it; The expression Middle East is an old British label based on a British Western perception of the East divided into middle or near and far, which are two relative concepts having Britain as a referring point. The expression is a projection from outside, not emerging from inside, conceiving the other in relation to the self as it was always the case in classical orientalism, the periphery in relation to the center, which is already a power relationship expressed in cognition. and on that note allow me to forward the term "Arab World" as a more appropriate term to be used. thank you.
This reminds me of a women pastor who was a guest speaker in my woman studies class in college. She had researched, studied ancient Greek texts, philosophers, culture, the real meaning of words with the intent of discovering that God was actually a feminine entity, the religion distorted by the patriarchal structure of society. At the time I thought it was pretty cool stuff but now that I have taken Christ as my Savior I realize that she was all about her and God was second.
I'll accept any color of Jesus, his color or races is totally irrelevant. But apparently you won't. He must be black to you or no Jesus. You're the one who won't accept a white Jesus or a brown Jesus or a Yellow or Red Jesus. It's his teachings that are important, not skin color which apparently you don't and never will realize. You emphasizing the irrelevant, looks over substance. I do believe you have a real problem and that problem is race or one's color of his skin. Not of character, the individual, the goodness or evil within a person. Just the outer layer. You need help my friend.
ihad accepted a "white jesus" for my entire life then iwoke up, so youre way off the mark with that. iam glad though that you have now come to accept that Yesus was black. now we can move on with the discussion.
