Good grief, we're not talking about some imaginary future in which every plane, ship, or building only has single private restrooms. In the real world, most restrooms are multi occupancy. So private restrooms have nothing to do with this issue.

I went in Army Basic back in '80. The first few days in the processing barracks I saw one guy have an epileptic fit, I don't know if many left those first 2 weeks because it was 1 week before we got our hair cut, and another week before going to our Basic unit. We had 300 guys in our Basic unit!

Anyhow, aside from the many AWOLS, we had one little guy begin crying after he pretended to faint standing out in formation. "I can't get up!" He was kept as a slave doing housing keeping roles until he was Chaptered out a few weeks later.

 

We had relatively few females when I was in 30 years ago. In my two duty station barracks, each had a shared bathroom with a flip/flop sign male/female.

I can't imagine what Ash Carter has now.

 

Well by pretending single occupancy bathrooms are a legitimate answer, dodging reality is exactly what you are doing. This thread isn't about trans bathrooms anyway, but trying to hijack the thread about it, when you failed to even deal with the real issue by talking about the wonders of uni sex bathrooms when really you were referring to single occupancy bathrooms is a denial of reality of the first order.

Back in 71 in basic formation and march the guy's shoulders in front of me were hitching up and down. The instructor called him out and when he turned I saw he was crying big alligator tears. Talked to him later and he said he couldn't take it. I had to laugh, basic in the AF back then was 6 weeks and a joke.

On the other hand my daughter went through Marine basic during Afghanistan and loved every minute of it.

You didn't really offer anything. You tried to trick us into thinking your hospital had uni sex bathrooms, when really you meant single occupancy ones. That's why it's beyond bizarre that you would try to hijack the thread int discussing trans bathrooms, when really they are irrelevant to your single occupancy ones. I admit, I don't get what that has to do with trans bathrooms or why you needed to mention single occupancy restrooms as if they were some sort of answer.

Only a couple of incidents have been reported to the media. But ArmySoldier points out there were a couple soldiers who refused to stand for the National Anthem and those incidents didn't make it to the civilian world.

our hospital does have unisex bathrooms and yes, they are single occupancy, so do most planes, why do you feel boats can't do this?

The U.S. military is suppose to be a-political. Obama has politicized the U.S. military. These diversity officers are nothing more than political officers.

I served during the Vietnam War. By 1970 just a few "unhappy people" had organized race riots, attempted mutinies on ships and "in country" , fraggings of SNCO's aka "lifers" and officers. It just took a few unhappy people who brought their politics from the inner city into the military to (*)(*)(*)(*) every thing up. It only took one unhappy person to prevent 10,000 sailors and Marines and an entire carrier air wing and an aircraft carrier from deploying to Yankee Station off of North Vietnam because this one unhappy person brought his leftist Marxist inner city politics aboard ship and deliberately dropped a wrench in the ships reduction gears.

Any one who served in the U.S. military before Obama politicized the military with liberal social engineering knows you have no constitutional rights while standing on that wall protecting America. You live by the UCMJ and the UCMJ basically says you have no constitutional rights while defending America and to make sure that everything is covered in the UCMJ, the UCMJ has a CATCH 22, Article 134 the CATCH 22.
