Black Woman Refuses to Deplane Spirit Airlines After Illegally Boarding

Some folks think that all processes and procedures.......all rules and regulations need to be suspended to accommodate black privilege.

I think the airline's action puts the airline in a positive light. Why would we not want disincentive for people to cause delays by boarding a plane on which he or she had not purchased a ticket? I hope the airline doesn't settle.

 

I have flown for work frequently and it is inconvenient to deal with delays or missed flights, especially when you arrive early but there are atypical logistical problems at the airport preventing you from arriving at the gate in time. You still don't board a plane when airline staff tells you that you cannot because the boarding period has elapsed. You don't insult other passengers with racist remarks, either.

 

An op-ed expressing one guys opinion does not support your claim. That was an egregious FAIL.

The fact that the New York Times would publish such an article is indicative of the premise that black parents teaching their children to hate Whites is prevalent in the black community.

 

Idiots of all races do stupid things daily. Making racist remarks about blacks is also unecessary and crude. I'm sure there were other black passengers on the plane who were flying peacefully who were also inconvenienced. There were probably passengers of other races who behaved like jerks on planes on the same day. It has happened, repeatedly. I don't think this woman will receive a settlement or have a case.

As we have seen over and over again, a black person doesn't need a 'case' to be given a 'nuisance settlement' from a large corporation.......Whites don't possess such racial power/privilege.

 

Your logic fails here. Most black people are Christians. Christians don't teach hatred of any race of people.

White people don't get settlement payments from nuisance cases? You must br dreaming, if you believe that. For a Civil Rights claim that involves race, you sully your position when you are caught making racist remarks during the same incident.

 

More come from single parents than 2 parent homes. That's why its an exception than the norm.

What 'racist' remarks have I made? The truth is not racism....no matter how uncomfortable it might make you feel. To think that companies settle nuisance lawsuits with Whites at anywhere near the level they do with blacks is patently absurd.

 

Civil Rights leaders like MLK cared about his religion, racial injustice and his nation. In fact, his ministry encompassed all three. He taught non-violence to counteract racial injustice and improve his nation and he did not teach hate. One doesn't negate the other.

 

No time like today to put a stop to the big, black whine about civil rights and black oppression.
