Sure does. While my country isn't perfect I can appreciate the thousands of years of blood, sweat and tears that went into making this the bastion of individual freedom that attracted my ancestors to its shores.
True. As an apostate of the "progressive" faith I can attest to that fact. And you can have it, but it appears that many people in Europe are no longer as enamored with that phony "nation" and its socialism as you appear to be. I suspect our British cousins won't be the last people to bid the EU and its arrogant elites adieu.
Absolutely, and as a Rand Paul supporter I couldn't help but be impressed with how Trump was the only presidential candidate who was willing and savvy enough to embrace and jump on that popular tsunami and ride it all the way to the White House. I hadn't seen anything like it since 1980.
I just stated facts. I guess you'd be better off not discussing economics you don't appear to understand proper debate. Debate starts with making factual statements and backing them up properly, not starting off with a half truth and lie and making up your own conclusions. tsk, tsk.
Which is exactly the result of Trump cutting taxes, the same as when JFK and Reagan cut taxes. For some people, not even hindsight vision is 20/20.
I'll chime in since I saved about $14,000 in taxes thanks to cut, I've been putting extra money in a real estate investment fund called CrowdStreet, those investments are hiring people to renovate and build apartments and other commercial properties.
I absolutely agree. How dare those rich people force the innocent people of the world to buy their wares. How dare the Steve Jobs of the world hold millions of people at gun point and make them stand in line for hours to buy the latest phone. How dare people like Lady Gaga force the young girls to shovel out their hard earned money just to buy her latest crap music or go see her concerts. They should be put in prison I say!
As you like, "different strokes for different folks". But in a real debate-forum one is obliged to exchange with something better than ranting sarcasm. (Which abounds in this particular thread!) How many times must I repeat that "socialism" per se exists nowhere on this planet - except for the communist dictatorship of North Korea. (Where its Fearless Leader is trying hard to obtain the monies necessary to quick-start itself as China has done!) What does exist in the European Union (which has a population size larger than the US) in which the predominant political ethic is called Social Democracy. I have linked to its definition for your badly needed edification in the matter. You don't live here apparently so you have no way of knowing. There are some blaying (from the Rabid Right) who are having presently their time in the sun. That will change shortly and they will "enter history" as European employment "gets back to normal". Moreover, the sentiment regarding the Brits generally in the rest of Europe goes like this: "Have they lost their minds?" Time will show that they have. Tis a shame nonetheless, they are generally a nice people ... PS: You evidently don't know about the latest scandal involving the Rabid Right in Austria. See here for reading: Austrian far-right FPÖ quits Kurz government after sacking - BBC News. So typical is that of the Rabid Right. (Anyway the new trend in politics is the "Centrism" that accommodates the good-ideas from both the Right and Left that have become far too rabid each of them.)
