There are parents that try to force their children to be trans. Isn't it equally wrong to force a trans person not to be? Surely you admit that occurs do you not?

Of course, it was such a silly question, I felt no reason to respond.
Why are parents forcing their children to be an opposite sex? Link. It's a huge world with all kinds of people, so I'm sure there may be a few out there.

I don't think anyone should force anybody to do anything they don't want.
I realize that blanket statement wouldn't apply to every situation. But as a general rule.

    I know it's out there.

Further, I think it's appropriate for people to wait until they are 18.

Maybe let's not jump automatically to children being transgender because they feel a certain way. Feelings change all the time.

Sure they do. But who says those with transgender inclinations are feelings?
    Is sexual orientation just feelings?

    It will.
Then shouldn't they be given the same leeway give to gays?

Yes and when they are 18 and still have those feelings then they can transition.
Well sure, and they are as far as I know. They are allowed to marry someone of the same sex. Beyond that I don't know what leeway you're talking about.

Why can't they use the bathroom of their internal sexual being?
The bathroom they are likely dressed as.
It would be odd to see a trans in a dress entering a men's room.

because the owner of the bathrooms get to decide that.
Why did this magically become an issue in the last couple of years? What have they been doing all along?

I don't know. That is the question.
IMO, the RW lost the gay debate so moved onto the next.
Or the LW has this next. But the LW changed nothing. As you said, trans have been using the bathroom they ID'd as, for as long as there has been public restrooms.

I know. It was never an issue and it still isn't.
Watching people moon over political factions is nauseating. Please spare me the puppet programming from your political bent. I've heard it all and I find it pathetic. If you have no mind of your own I wish to discontinue speaking to you, I can read your opinions from their platform if that is the case.

    Good, we can end this.
For I have no political bent, and I can discontinue speaking to you.

And as you say, boy scouts and girl scouts were separated... why do you think that was?
Why don't the transgender, questioning sorts just start their own group with focus on what interests them? Where's the independence - the courage of their convictions?
If they have to take over an organization, it makes more sense they should want to be Rainbow girls.

You haven't said anything. This never was an issue, it still isn't. You shouldn't have spoken in the first place you added nothing to the discussion.

So far all you have said is "why don't they get the same leeway as gay people? " they always had more until the oberfel decision.

And the autistic can form there own.
Those with red hair can form there own.
But why? Why can't they be included as part of society? Why must they be separate?

Yet you keep responding. If I've added nothing, just drop it. Like I am now.

They are included in society. BSA isn't society it's an organization.

These are focus groups - not society. Everyone SHOULD be included in society, but not everyone should join a doll-collecting club and insist they change focus to comic books.

Trans people aren't asking the boy scouts to change anything.
As a matter of fact, the boy scouts became more accepting on their own on this issue, yes?
So, you don't think an autistic kid should be able to join the scouts if one wants?

They're asking them to change the rules and allow girls into it. A transboy isn't a boy.

Of course they are! Boy scouts are being changed from a boys' club to something else.

    Nope, they are not.
They are still going to be called the boy scouts.
They are still going to have the same creed, and same bylaws.

The only change happening is they now include another class/group into their organization.
Are you involved in the Boy Scouts?
