Glenn Beck has spoken numerous time about how boycotting is a tactic that should not be entered into, despite being an unparalleled recipient of this extremely effective tactic.

I would attempt to make the case Mr. Beck is wrong, with a few examples of why this may have at one point been a wise conclusion of Mr. Beck, and others, but how the time is ripe to take that path, with the proper target(s) being the media via their advertisers.

I will be operate with certain assumptions, since proof of anything being factual is increasing limited in the current clime of manipulation, outright lies, misinformation, disinformation and non-reporting:

    1. The media is intended to be the 4th arm of the people to keep the government honest. It currently gives the illusion of doing so, but under scrutiny, it keeps the government honest as long as it is not in conflict with the interests of those wealthy ideologues who have purchased it.

    2. Conservatives have finally formed a unified voting block of substance, coupled with the American conservatives being predominant above liberals, meaning, pound for pound, there are more conservatives in America than liberals. The organized voting block of conservatives is exampled in 2010, and furthermore, the decades long liberal voting block base, unions, by their own admission is plummeting.

Tactically the advantage of boycotting the purchased leftist media was missing the key component of an organized block dynamic. You can’t succeed, despite the conservatives populace numbers, if they have no organizational mechanism in place to be effective. Now, with that in place and in conjunction with the organized leftist union base dwindling, the time would in fact be now to start attacking the media via their advertisers to effect change of the corrupt 4th arm of the people.

Mr. Beck long has held the position that conservatives should not stoop to the level of those who enjoin the tactic of boycotting opponents. His position is loosely based on an ethical/moral position I believe, and, that in stooping to level of those who enjoin this tactic is in essence, adopting the leftist liberal ideology that the ends justify the means.

I believe he is wrong. The 2012 elections loom. The purchased leftist media is winding out it’s malignant machine once more. America is at the greatest risk she has ever seen before. To boycott attack them via their advertisers is not stooping to their level, it is rising to the need of America, as her watchdog has been completely compromised.

A wheeled boycott systemic attack would be my choice.

    Thoughts?
