This finale blew my mind. Seriously Gilligan is a genius. Walt had CANCER! Holy crap friggin' cancer. I would have NEVER seen that coming.

I was afraid it was going to be something like the finale of Lost, where the show is over, but you still don't know what happened. Breaking Bad ended as it should: tying up all the loose ends.

Well most of the loose ends. They did leave one loose end for a potential sitcom. lol

Heh... Yea, Sal got away didn't he....

Anyone know why the police came at the end? I thought the Nazi camp was out in the middle of no where.... did someone butt dial them when they fell down dead?

    Baby Blue - great tune....

I thought the same thing, Jessie had no phone, no one knew walt was there and the cops were there in a only a few minutes...but other than that an excellent ending...

and then there was the ricin in the sugar pack, how did he know no one else would sit at that table before Lydia?...I looked up ricin after the show and although there is no cure for it and it's deadly if inhaled or injected it's much less lethal if ingested so lydia may have survived

Awesome ending to one of the best TV shows of all time.

And I think the Sal show is going to be a prequel.

I loved the Sal character, I thought he was unappreciated and entertaining...

That was my big fear - ending up with that disappointing feeling I had after I watched the Lost finale.

This one was perfect. I can't say I was really surprised by how it ended... everything I thought would happen happened. I didn't see the Gretchen and Elliot thing coming, though... that was a good angle. Other than that, I expected Walt to take out the bad guys, free Jesse, and die. I thought maybe Jesse would be the one to kill him, but it didn't happen.

I wonder if the cops got Jesse on his way out? Jesse peeled out of there at 100mph, driving like a maniac, and shortly after the cops showed up coming up the same road Jesse was going down.

I never really thought that Jesse would be the one to kill Walt. I just doesn't set right. In the end, no one was rightfully qualifed to kill Walt except himself.

Vince Gilligan said in Talking Bad that he envisioned Jesse getting away and starting over.
