Israeli professor Dr. Gal Luft, a key Biden whistleblower who was “missing” for several weeks, has been indicted by the Department of Justice just days after releasing a bombshell video in which he accused the Biden family of accepting bribes and assisting the Chinese government.…

…Last week, Luft uploaded a video from an “undisclosed location” in which he claimed he was being detained in order to prevent his scheduled testimony before the House Oversight Committee. The professor asserts that the Biden family received payments from individuals with alleged ties to Chinese military intelligence, further alleging the existence of an FBI mole who leaked classified information to China-controlled energy company CEFC.

“I, who volunteered to inform the US government about a potential security breach and about compromising information about a man vying to be the next president, am now being hunted by the very same people who I informed — and may have to live on the run for the rest of my life on the run …,” Luft said.

“I’m not a Republican. I’m not a Democrat. I have no political motive or agenda … I did it out of deep concern that if the Bidens were to come to power, the country would be facing the same traumatic Russia collusion scandal — only this time with China. Sadly, because of the DOJ’s cover-up, this is exactly what happened,” he continued.

House Oversight Chair James Comer (R-KY) recently told Newsmax that Luft was in talks with the committee and would soon be testifying. Comer described Luft as “highly credible,” adding that, “this is a credible witness that the FBI flew all the way to Brussels to interview and sent several agents to interview…

So much for whistleblower protection during the reign of the current regime. They are actually indicting a major witness against him because he is that. I’m glad that he got out of their grasp in Cypress. Israel should never agree to extradite him back here as long as Biden is our president.

Now we have Biden trying to arrest the man who has key evidence of Biden and his sons criminally corrupt acts.

Well he is trying to arrest his 2024 competition. I'm not sure how any of this is surprising. The more corrupt he is, the more the left loves him. He is in a good place politically (sorry to say it but its true)
The 2 tier justice system is practically porn for the left

It isn’t at all surprising considering who we’re talking about here and his voters. The 2tier justice system is being exposed and more Americans are aware of it each passing day. For many of us though, it does not matter how hard they go after Trump, we will continue to support him. All they do is double down our resolve to back him no matter what they say or do. We will vote him into the White House even if he’s in a prison cell at the time.

Lol you think they got a grand jury and indicted him all in the last couple days?
Or maybe he knew it was coming and took the trunp route of claiming it’s a conspiracy against him?

Sounds like he was trying to go the whistleblower route to avoid prosecution.... vs running for office...

    SNIP
Gal Luft, a citizen of the United States and Israel, is accused of recruiting and paying a former high-ranking U.S. government official on behalf of principals based in China in 2016, without registering as a foreign agent as required by law.

Prosecutors did not identify the former official, but said he was working as an adviser to the then president-elect Donald Trump at the time. Luft is accused of pushing the adviser to support policies favorable to China, including by drafting comments in the adviser's name published in a Chinese newspaper.

I suspect this Luft will eventually go the way of Ray Epps..... be a big RW story for a few weeks, then sue Fox for defamation... Ha Ha....

Problem is you cannot claim to being detained and on the run at the same time if you want to be taken seriously.

Good point.... it says right on the first page "sealed indictment", so my guess is this document was finalized in February 2023, not today

    https://www.justice.gov/media/1304836/dl?inline

Let's take a brief note of some of the countries mentioned in this indictment, outside of Israel and the US

    - China
    - Iran
    - Libya
    - UAE
    - Kenya
    - North Korea
    - Qatar

Other than Kenya, that's like the sketchy country HOF..... Pretty sad when your top witness against a presidential family is THIS guy....

Leave it to America's 2nd dumbest Senator (got bumped from the top spot in 2020) Ron Johnson to add gasoline (and lies) to the situation

    SNIP
Now, he’s literally fleeing for his life right now,” Johnson told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo. “He's on the run. He’s an important witness. He needs to be granted immunity to be able to testify and tell his story.”

    Easier read.

'U.S. Attorney Announces Charges Against Co-Director Of Think Tank For Acting As An Unregistered Foreign Agent, Trafficking In Arms, Violating U.S. Sanctions Against Iran, And Making False Statements To Federal Agents/

    snip:

First, LUFT conspired with others in an effort to act within the United States to advance the interests of the People’s Republic of China (“China”) as agents of China-based principals, without registering as foreign agents as required under U.S. law. As part of this scheme, while serving as the co-director of a Maryland-based non-profit think tank, LUFT agreed to covertly recruit and pay, on behalf of principals based in China, a former high-ranking U.S. Government official (“Individual-1”), including in 2016 while the former official was an adviser to the then-President-elect, to publicly support certain policies with respect to China without LUFT or Individual-1 filing a registration statement as an agent of a foreign principal with the Attorney General of the United States, in violation of FARA. Among other things, in the weeks before the 2016 U.S. presidential election, LUFT and a co-conspirator (“CC-1”), who is a Chinese national and worked for a Chinese nongovernmental organization affiliated with a Chinese energy company, created a written “dialogue” between CC-1 and Individual-1, in which LUFT wrote Individual-1’s responses and included information that was favorable to China. The dialogue was then published in a Chinese newspaper online and sent to, among others, individuals in the United States, including a journalist and professors at multiple U.S. universities. When LUFT was writing the dialogue, CC-1 told LUFT that “n these articles, we do not want to spill all the beans yet, just enough to let ‘people’ know he [i.e., Individual-1] is in the corridor of power to be. Just broad stroke policy consideration that leaves plenty of room for interpretation and imagination to be filled in later.” After the purported “conversations” were published, LUFT told CC-1 that certain information, favorable to China, had been “tucked between the lines.” Shortly after the 2016 election, LUFT and CC-1 also discussed possible roles Individual-1 might have in the incoming U.S. administration and discussed Individual-1 taking a “silent trip” to China. LUFT responded that “[w]e are debating about his role in the new admin. There are all kinds of considerations . . .We should talk ftf [i.e., face-to-face] as there can be a supremely unique opportunity for china.”

Second, LUFT conspired with others and attempted to broker illicit arms transactions with, among others, certain Chinese individuals and entities. "

hmmm this is going to get good. One hand he blows the whistle then indicted after being on the run and has been used by the Fbi as an informant. On the other hand, he could've known he was going to get indicted, so he fabricated the story. My guess is whoever doesn't want him to testify the most is the guilty party. We shall see I guess but I find it hilarious our resident Biden ass sniffers are already buying the party line that it's the informant that's crooked, even though he worked with the FBI, and no chance it could possibly have anything to do with the Bidens. The same posters always told us during the BS Russian hoax where there's smoke there's fire. There is a ton of smoke around Biden and there are direct payments to Biden corporations, and some were put in granddaughters' names to avoid detection. You don't do that with clean money, sorry sniffers.

Another 'FARA' prosecution. We are told that FARA is a law that'd been rarely used, but since 2016 has become the DOJ's preferred law of choice. I do think there's rather obvious bias here at play for the DOJ. Since the individual would come over the House to testify, there's no reason to pursue prosecution or at least at this moment of time. It'd have been easier to wait for Luft to come over to the States and then charge him.

I think this has to do with intimidation of any such House hearings. So this move is definitely made with the influence and direction of President Joe Biden, who has made the laughable claim that he's not involved with his own departments. This indictment is meant specifically not to prosecute Luft but to effectively silence him and prevent him from testifying to the House.

Has the House extended actual legal whistleblower status to this wanted individual and alleged criminal? The far RW seems to want people to believe he's a legit whistleblower......sounds more like Rudy made up ****.

    Says who?

The guy has been on the run for 5 months... which is before Comer even started seaching for something to smear the President.

I'm guessing there was ZERO chance he was ever going to come back to the US....even before this sealed indictment was released...

And FARA is only 1 of 8 counts, most of which are way worse than FARA....

Navarro would have been a decent guess, since he's the only one of those 3 that was a high-ranking government employee

Some digging this AM indicates the guy was not a household name (as associated with Mango)..

    SNIP
Luft told the New York Post that the high-ranking official is the former Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, James Woolsey, who also worked as a consultant for Luft's think tank and was a senior advisor in Donald Trump's White House.

    Thanks for the clarification.

Woolsey is supposedly suffering from " dementia" according to this.

    What a read!

'Fallout From Decade-Long, $1 Billion Biofuel Scam Could Decimate Polygamist Sect'
'The winding scheme sent an L.A. gas titan and a family of Mormons to prison last week while raising questions about the CIA'
    By

    -
    April 14, 2023

'CIA Director R. James Woolsey, whose name came up repeatedly last week in a Utah federal courtroom during a series of sentencing hearings connected to a byzantine $511 million scheme run by members of a polygamist Mormon group tied to the Armenian underworld, may have found himself in handcuffs on money laundering charges if “he wasn’t suffering from dementia,” sources tell LA Mag.

Using the codename “Grandpa,” Woolsey was connected to the fundamentalist Utah-based Mormon sect via polygamist engineer Jacob Kingston, who was sentenced last week to 18 years in federal prison for his role in orchestrating the scheme."

"And that backstory directly involves Woolsey, the CIA, Agency assets, and transnational crime figures, something the judge called “a million different rabbit trails,” involving, she added, “all kinds of unsavory characters.”

"Woolsey could not be reached for comment, but a former CIA official confirmed that his mental health is deteriorating. If he had been charged, he would have been the third federal agent to go down in the case.'
