The January 6th committee is a select panel of investigators. So, they cannot convict, and they prove nothing. Their findings would have to be proven in a court of law by criminal prosecutors. That is, if there is something concrete, they could actually prove by law. The committee can't hold people accountable. Their job is not to prove. That's the job of criminal prosecutors who would have to prove the accused wrong.
